Flaw in Cowboys Stadium

I think the video board decision was a good one.
That is one bad-ass TV.
I doubt it would have been hit by footballs that much anyway.
Too bad such a nice video system is being wasted on such a gay team.\\
Gotta give Jones credit, though, that is one nice stadium. Shame God really doesn't watch the Cowboys, he'd rather watch Santa get snowballs thrown at him from the stands in Philly. My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

I'll just leave this here
"I kind of laugh when I hear the video board isn't going to be a big factor. It's going to get peppered all season.''
-- Former Tennessee punter A.J. Trapasso after nailing the 165-foot-wide video board hanging 90 feet above the field at the new Dallas stadium in an August preseason game.
The Cowboys have played five games since -- one in the preseason and four in the regular season. Total punts in the five games: 48. Punts that have peppered the videoboard: zero.
You can now say you told us so, Jerry Jones.Last edited by Rayman; 11-10-2009, 01:15 AM.

The only way to hit the jerrytron is to actually try. The punter in preseason was trying to get people to talk about him and it worked, but no punter is going to waste a punt trying to actually hit it...Comment

I'm pretty sure I have said on several occasions that the punter was being a douche and intentionally punting it to hit the Jerrytron. Thats why that faggot is out of a job. He thought it would be cooler to punt the ball sky high but only net about 20 yards jut so he can say I hit the board

isnt that screen right down the center of the field? if so, what punter who actually has a job kicks the ball right down the center of the field anyways?

The kid in pre-season had no intention of hitting that scoreboard. When it did hit the scoreboard, however, it made punters aware of it. Sure, they may not be hitting it, but I'm more than positive they're making an effort to evade.

How so? Both Trapasso and Hentrich were hitting the scoreboard in warm-ups during that game. Are you just going to say that because logic says the punts shouldn't be kicked down the middle, the height shouldn't matter? I've seen a number of punts go straight down the middle. Wait until a big leg like Andy Lee, Pat McAfee, or Mike Scifres arrives.
