haha if you were an Asian - American female , I might consider it. But no thanks haha

lets put it this way- the line is 4 to 4 1/2 in favor of Texans. it will either stay that way or the Texans will be favored by more before game time. They are trying to get you to think the Jets will cover. But it would be foolish to take that bet.

He's a freak of nature when it comes to athletic ability but he doesn't look like an NFL player.
From what I've heard from the Jet beat guys, the dude has no fire and shies away from contact. But the Jets are going to need him to do something the first few games of the season.

Exactly. Flacco was on the bench at Pittsburgh - behind Tyler Palko of all people. Sanchez is just as talented at the very least.

        It's just Miami fans hating.

You wanna call that winning the division you can .. but let's be real. Miami drops both games to New England last season if Tom Brady is playing and definitely don't win the division.

I never said you couldn't be confident about the team. I just think you're all pushing it just a tad.

Marques Colston came out of Hofstra. Should we discount what he did/is doing because of the college he played at?

Since when does it matter what college a player came out of if he is productive in the NFL?

Brandon Jacobs went to Auburn and sat behind Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown. He is definitely better then Caddy and some will argue better then Ronnie Brown. Why are you trying to discount Flacco in the NFL because he had to sit behind an inferior quarterback in college due to a dipshit coach?

              Flacco>>>>>Sanchez

And Miami still beats NE the first time they met last season. The NE defense was awful and couldn't stop Miami. Tom Brady wouldn't have made the defense any better.

When a team starts a QB that should have been a senior in college this year, they had better lose the first game.

by the way, whats the GGML? I like the old school logo.

Unless Tom Brady was going to run onto the field and stop the wildcat Miami was going to win that game in New England regardless of who was playing QB for the Pats.

This year the Dolphins and Pats will again split the series. No matter how big of a homer you are you can't even argue that Miami isn't a better team this year then they were last year. The same can't be said for the Jets. The Jets are rebuilding and it's going to be a year or two before they're competing. Sanchez isn't going to be the savior this season. He's either going to be a damn good QB or a real big bust there wont be a in between. I just really hope it's the latter.

With Miami's schedule I think the Patriots win the AFC East but don't be surprised if Miami is right there behind them.
Yes, you gotta give credit where credits due and I'll give Miami their props for winning the AFC East last year. I think what the other guy was saying if Tom Brady is healthy for a full 16 games the Pats don't finish behind the Phins regardless of what happened in their 2games vs each other. Who knows? Maybe they do, maybe they don't. That's why we play but I see where the guy is coming from.

You say the Jets aren't a better team than last years? I disagree 100%. Besides Favre who did the Jets really lose? They got rid of shitty Mangini as Head Coach, brought in Rex Ryan who in turn brought in Bart Scott, Jim Lehonard and Marques Douglas. Lito Sheppard was also added to the defense. We did lose Coles which hurt but the overall lose/gain I would say leans towards gain this off-season. In my eyes as a Jets fan I was very happy with what I saw from Sanchez. Dustin Keller should have a pretty nice year after having a pretty impressive rookie season. The offensive line remains unchanged. I just don't see how you say we didn't improve.

I won't be surprised if we start 0-4, I won't be surprised if we start 3-1. I don't know what to expect record wise this season but I do expect to see a team out there that is competing every game.

                      haha I also said 1 - 3 is a strong possibilty.

The fact is, I will never predict a rookie Qb to do well. If alot of rookie QBs come into the league and start doing well, it simply means the league is becoming sub par.

Should we cyber now or later?

Let me tell you something - I'm not a gambling guy, but I bet on this game.. Not because I had a shot of winning, but because it was an auto win. I would have bet my mothers fucking soul on this game.... and I love my mother.

It's Houston, people.. They fucking stink.

you got real lucky and hopefully you stay away from making gambling a habit.

this was no lock for Jets- key injuries and starting a rookie Qb should be a negative, not a chance to win.
thanks to parity and a 16 game schedule, we'll see if the Texans are a flop yet.

the 24-7 is after the fact. prior to that was wide open to chance.
