It's preseason. Almost all of the teams' starters look good. Philip Rivers was 11 for 15 for 160 yards in the first half against Atlanta, the Saints beat the Raiders like 45-7...You can take absolutely nothing from these games IMO, other than the individual performances.

No one is looking at the team's performance as a whole throughout the game. They are talking about individual performances and first team performances against other first teams. And no one said that this means the Packers or Seahawks or whoever is going to go 16-0 in the season and win the playoffs. Like Goblin said, it's just someone bragging about their team, but preseason does hold some value when you look at it through a certain perspective, which is what mostly everyone else in this thread is doing but you.Comment

Contradiction.

I dont value these wins very much. I value the fact that all our players are in shape and ready to play ball. If you're clicking so well on both sides of the ball this time of year, then its worth getting excited about.
Not to mention the younger players who are looking REALLY good for us,(Desmond Bishop, Jermichael Finley, Tyrell Sutton, Jordy Nelson, Raji)
I cant help but be excited about our season.Comment

Its not like hes bragging about nothing. We put up 38 point in the first half against a super bowl team, Chuck Woodson had 2 fuckin sacks and 2 forced fumbles. Our Defense has 11 fuckin takeaways in 3 games. thaAaron looks better n Brett ever did.
If that doesn't impress anyone...then you're probably a Vikings or Bears fan.
------Aaron looks better than Brett ever did.---------
THIS IS THE DUMBEST, MOST UNEDUCATED, IGNORANT, YOUNG DUMB PERSON STATEMENT THAT HAS EVER BEEN POSTED ON THE INTERNETLast edited by ram29jackson; 08-31-2009, 05:52 PM.Comment
