If that doesn't impress anyone...then you're probably a Vikings or Bears fan.
It's preseason. Almost all of the teams' starters look good. Philip Rivers was 11 for 15 for 160 yards in the first half against Atlanta, the Saints beat the Raiders like 45-7...You can take absolutely nothing from these games IMO, other than the individual performances.

        Contradiction.

No one is looking at the team's performance as a whole throughout the game. They are talking about individual performances and first team performances against other first teams. And no one said that this means the Packers or Seahawks or whoever is going to go 16-0 in the season and win the playoffs. Like Goblin said, it's just someone bragging about their team, but preseason does hold some value when you look at it through a certain perspective, which is what mostly everyone else in this thread is doing but you.

Oh yeah. I forgot about the one he stripped. I was just thinking of the two forced on the sacks. Good call.

              This.

I dont value these wins very much. I value the fact that all our players are in shape and ready to play ball. If you're clicking so well on both sides of the ball this time of year, then its worth getting excited about.

Not to mention the younger players who are looking REALLY good for us,(Desmond Bishop, Jermichael Finley, Tyrell Sutton, Jordy Nelson, Raji)

I cant help but be excited about our season.

Don't forget Brandon Chillar. Guy has been an absolute beast when given his chances.

I dont consider him a young guy. I expect him to be situational, 3rd down, obvious passing downs, etc... And in those situations I expect good things from Chilly.

I think the Lions 3rd stringers might be the best in the buisness

LOL at Packers fans trying to justify a Most Impressive Team in Preseason thread.

Find me a better team. I didn't come in here to brag about the Packers. I came in to see some evidence of other teams 1st string playing this well.

I dont care that you dont like it. Aaron takes care of the ball. When Brett dropped back, I always worried that he would force a play and get into trouble. With Aaron, I have a little more trust. He takes care of the ball, can make the big throws, moves very well.

Its one of the things I wont miss about Brett. He threw interceptions like candy at a parade.

I love Favre as much as you do, but Rodgers passer rating was over 151 last game. GTFO.
