I don't think he was too underrated.
He was always in talk when talking about the best Linebackers, and Madden always gave him a High 90's rating.
He's one of my favorite players of all-time. Small guy that made up for it with intelligence and heart.

On kffl.com their reporting that Thomas' Agent Drew Rosenhaus says Zack isn't retiring and looks forward to a great season. Here's the report:
