Cutler and Marshall both produced 0 playoff appearances with Denver. I'm still waiting on the excuse in Cutler's 0-6 record, 4 TD's/7int's, QB rating in the low 70's in the 6 playoff deciding games he played in.
Defense or no defense, you still have to show up and do your job, which Cutler and Marshall obviously did not.
If we fired Shanahan 5 years ago, it would be 5 less seasons of "utter disappointment" in the way the season ended, something far too familiar for Bronco fans in the last 10 years, which have been horridly unimpressive by any stretch of the mind.
Shanahan's 1 "impressive" season in the last 10 ended with a blowout loss in the playoffs against Pittsburgh....at home.
