Actually not like that at all. The more teams that choose to run the under center triple option, the better. I simply really dislike the spread option offense, especially for a conference that has historically prided itself on power running.

Rich Rod was a joke, when he had "his players" it was one of the sloppiest offenses to watch. Yea they scored points in a conference dominated by offense, but the man had 4 plays. That shit doesnt work vs a good team 90% of the time.

60-26 record at WVU.. 4 Big East Championships & a BCS bowl victory. Dude can coach with the right players & a supportive school. 12-0 season at Tulane as an offensive coordinator as well.. I just think Michigan is a bad fit.

This. I think, barring a complete disaster at the helm this season, RRod will be back next season, and better than he has been. That will have given him some time to bring in SOME talent. [granted, they won't be developed].

The Big Ten isn't as strong as it used to be, and a mediocre Michigan squad could easily run away with a 7-5 record. Which would keep RRod in town one more season.

I think this is true. I think he's very overrated as an X's & O's coach...IMO, he had superior athletes at West Virginia compared to the rest of the conference. That is why he won. It didn't have all that much to do with his 'system'.

The Big10 is probably a bit tougher than the Big East, and, more importantly, Michigan won't let Rich Rod get the PacMan Jones' and the Chris Henry's into the school. The thugs he had at WVU can't gain admission to Michigan.
