NFL Cut Week: Who holds on and who is surprisingly let go?

Just a thread to keep track of the cuts going on this week.

-Bills release MLB Pat Thomas which means LB Marcus Buggs will probably make the team
-Bucs sign former Raider G/T Marcus Johnson to back up Davin Joseph, cut C Sean Mahan which means undrafted rookie Rob Bruggeman will be the backup center this year

I was surprised titans cut RB Rafael Little, they got him as an undrafted free agent following the 08 draft. They liked what they saw out of him in camp until he had an injury and was placed on IR. They kept him around the team all year, he learned the playbook. He wouldve been a good special teamer at the very least. He was among the leaders in the SEC in all purpose yards while he played at Kentucky. He could catch the ball out of the backfield, run nicely from I form, and most of all he was a great returner.

They cut his ass but kept the worthless Chris Henry on the team so far.

What the fuck, I liked Little too.

Fucking Chris Henry, should have never drafted his overrated workout warrior ass in the second round a few years back.

Word on the street is that Justin Fargas could be cut. He is banged up, over the hill, and getting paid too much money to deserve a roster spot. Not only that, but halfback Louis Rankin has looked great the past couple of pre-seasons and could really help the team out on special teams and is good enough to fill that RB3 spot.

That said, Fargas is also the only Raiders running back with any experience and he is a great leader and example for our younger guys.

          So we'll see.

Rookie Nate Davis beat out Damon Huard for the #3 spot on the Niners QB roster...and Huard was cut.

Dude used to start with Kansas City...and now he's not even good enough to beat out a rookie with a learning disability who throws without the laces for the #3 spot on the fuckin Niners QB rotation. Damn, that's gotta suck.

I liked what I saw from Nate when he played against Cowboys. Dude has a lot of potential.

Lions release CB Keith Smith, replace him with former Charger Cletis Gordon, I don't expect Gordon to stick through, the battle for the final spot in the Detroit CB rotation is between Chris Roberson and Ramzee Robinson, look for Roberson to win.

                  Jets roster moves:

Release P Glenn Pakuluk, Reggie Hodges will be the week 1 starter
Sign TE Ben Hartsock which probably signals the end of converted DE Kareem Brown's hopes to make the football team, rookie Jack Simmons will most likely be the number 3 guy

-Jets release WR Marcus Henry, TEs Kevin Brock and Jack Simmons, which means they will keep Keller, Hartsock and Kareem Brown at TE, Britt Davis prob makes the team at WR
-Titans release WRs Mark Jones & Paul Williams as well as OG Jason Murphy
-Falcons release CBs Glenn Sharpe, Tony Tiller, S Eric Brock, OL Ben Wilkerson, Ryan Stanchek, Adam Speer and WR Chandler Williams

PATS release QB Andrew Walter which means that Brian Hoyer will be Brady's backup, I am almost certain they will trade for a vet backup in the next couple days
