That's fine but at some point it just ends up being too subjective and arbitrary. Easiest way handle it the way they handle it now.

Maybe the Bengals should've picked it off, maybe they should've caught Stokley from behind, maybe he should've tripped on the 10 yard line. Whatever, only thing that matters is Orton threw a pass and Stokley caught it for a TD.

Regardless, Cincy's secondary sucks, and they showed it on the touchdown.
Are you retarded? That was nothing but great play by the secondary with stokley having luck on his side. Hall made a great play on the deflection and you could see the safety coming over and destroying marshall even after the ball was tipped. If anything that play showed how in football, anything can happen on any given play.

Are you retarded? If Cincinnati had a quarterback capable of putting up a QB rating higher than 61, and at least one touchdown pass, Cincinnati wouldn't have had to depend on stopping that play.

Just kidding about the retarded remark, btw. ;)

So I was looking for a thread to join in the conversing, and I saw Glenwillett was all up in here. So I said to myself "hell yeah lets see how many times Glenwillett can call somebody retarded." I swear to you that's exactly what I said to myself, and there it is...the Gwillett signature card lulz. :sheep:

edit: yeah I know it was in reply to somebody else calling you retarded, but it's funny because that's how I remember you.

Do you even understand defense or are you just a rambling moron who hopes he's to drunk to care by the time Carson Palmer fucks up?

Have you ever heard of a three wide-prevent defense? It's what the bungles should have been running on the play. It has three deep safeties spread out across the field, in order to make sure no one gets past the defense. Where were these three safeties? All trying to take Marshall's head off! Great discipline there! If that terrible secondary knew what it was doing they would have covered Stokley, instead of letting him stroll into the endzone. Hell, the only guy even close to tackling Stokley was a fucking linebacker! Your dumb ass DBs completely deserted their assignments. Oh well that's why you're the bungles.

Oh and don't even get me started on Hall's retarded ass tipping an uncatchable ball back up into the air.

I'm no Palmer fan but isn't his career rating higher than 61?

just looked it up it's an 88.

Palmer has proven capable of posting higher than a 61 rating, and I think he's also proven he can throw more than one TD pass in a game.

Yup, just looked it up, his career high is 6 TDs in one game.

Besides he was 6 inches short of having a TD pass to Caldwell with less than a minute left in the game...Benson finished the drive off after that.

But it wasn't Palmer who tipped up the luckest reception of Stokley's life with 11 seconds left. Palmer had a pretty good drive in the 4th quarter to take the lead before Stoke's broken play. That's why stats are often misleading, add that Caldwell TD and Palmer's rating jumps to 71 or something like that. But it's whatever...

I believe his rating was 61 in yesterdays game.

You people said, give him a solid defense, and he'll flourish. That defense held Denver under double digit points, under 200 yards passing, and under 100 yards rushing (Not counting the lucky pass.) Carson Pamer threw two interceptions, 0 TDs, and lead his team to a total of 7 points. Not too good for what was supposed to be an ''explosive offense.'' That lucky pass shouldn't have even mattered.

                He's a failure.

0-5 in two seasons, now move on... or come back next week when he goes 0-6.

Carson Palmer lit up the worst defense in the NFL in 2008, by scoring 7 points!

Same was said about Jay Cutler - ''lol he played for denver, who has a shitty def.''

Well, Chicago's defense played well last night. They held Rodgers under 200 yards, held GBs rushing attack under 100 yards, and the guy throws 4 interceptions.

When the fuck do these guys start being held accountable?

I actually think Bengals fans are starting to catch on, though, judging by their forums.
