Really can't see this game going to well for us. Our secondary is bad and unless Cliff Avril is in the backfield on every play, we're going to lose this game.
Call it wishful thinking or whatever you want, but I could see this game being closer than most people think. Maybe, just maybe the Lions will squeek out with a win.
Season I: 10-6 (NFC North Champions)
Season II: 9-7 (NFC North Champions)
Season III: 13-3 (NFC Champions)
Season IV: 11-5 (NFC North Champions)
Season V: 2-1

I don't see it happening lol. The Saints passing attack is too much for the Lions.
I think Detroit could actually put up a good match against them. This may sound crazy but for some reason the Lions play a decent game on opening day. This is how they look since 2003 on opening day.
2003 - ARI 24 @ DET 42 W
2004 - DET 20 @ CHI 16 W
2005 - GB 3 @ DET 17 W
2006 - SEA 9 @ DET 6 L
2007 - DET 36 @ OAK 21 W
2008 - DET 21 @ ATL 34 L

Every team they beat were worse than them in the season. So, they probably should've beat them.
