I came into this game with zero expectations of the Rams, and some how they still found a way to disappoint. No discipline, no pass rush, no pass blocking, no stopping the run. The Rams played even worse than I could have imagined. It's going to be a long year.
the 1st half was beautiful football except for the final 2 minutes of the 2nd quarter the only thing wrong was the line not executing right and giving up a crap load of penaltys
    RIP

During the first half the defense played really well, but the offense was horrible all game. How do you get three turnovers and not score a point?

I'll tell you how--with some of the lamest, most unimaginative playcalling i've seen in years.

        Typical Rams drive:

1stD: Jackson runs for 3 yards
2ndD: Bulger to random scrub WR for 4 yards
        3rdD: Bulger incomplete
        4thD: Awesome Donnie Jones punt

Jackson had 16 carries and ZERO receptions. They threw to him twice. Thats 16 total touches, and his number was called a whopping 18 times. The game was not out of hand until late. The best player on the team, and one of the best players in the league, was uninvolved in he offense.

And I love all of those pass plays with two gus out on routes. 6 guys covering 2, Bulger with nowhere to throw, then all of the St Louis area Rams "fans" putting all the blame on Bulger, as usual. He made no mistakes, and ran this shitty, vanilla WCO offense as well as he could. Hard to score points when you ignore Jackson and all of the pass routes are 6 yard curls and slants.

Throw the final numbers out the window--the defense is young, aggressive, and good. Laurinitas looked great. Chris Long was active. The secondary is very, very good. Everyone knows bout Atogwe, Bartell and Butler, but Wade looked very good.

The offense has to get more aggresive. To be honest, thats my only real complaint about this game. I dont really care about anything that happened after mid 3rd Q, because the game was over. Overall they played hard.

Far from beautiful. Both teams played like shit for the first 25 minutes of the game.

The Seahawks just stopped their shitty play while the Rams took it the distance.
