In that case, doesn't that mean Kurt Warner is a better passer than Drew Brees?
Brees
31 - 300 yard passing games
26,616 yards passing.
174 TDs.
100 Interceptions.
64.1% completion %.
90.0 QB rating
3,684 attempts.
Warner
47 - 300 yard passing games.
28,879 yards
183 Tds
116 Interceptions
65.3% completion %
93.5 QB rating
3,601 attempts
So, it's obvious who the better passer is.. Why is Brees ranked higher? Also take into consideration, that Kurt Warner does this having started in FIVE less games than Drew Brees.Last edited by Nukleopatra; 09-18-2009, 11:32 PM.Comment

Dating back to 06 is Ben's motorcycle year, hardly indicative of his career.
So you're saying that because Romo has had better stats since 2006 (manipulation FTW), that he's a better QB? Or "passer"? In fact, WTF are you saying?

Cross eyed? Where are you getting this nonsense from?? Take me off pause from your TV in a still-frame you creep.

Romo 26 wins
Roethlisberger 29 ... in 7 more games.
But Romo's not that far behind. Once he wins in December and January than ill call him the Better QB.Comment

When Tom Brady had 3 rings, and Manning had none I think it was still obvious to a lot of people that Manning was still a better QB. Talent wise.
I don't see why people can't look at Romo in a similar fashion towards other QBs. The argument is practically the same.
Dallas probably would have made the playoffs last season if Romo didn't get hurt. They only needed one more win, and Romo was absent for the Giants, Rams, and Buccs. With Romo they could have snuck a win out of that, and possibly could have won a playoff game. Instead we're going to have to wait for this January.
I love Dallas' December schedule this year by the way. I think they play @ NY.vs SD. @ NoLa, @ Washington, and vs Philly. It's almost as if they're setup to fail.Last edited by Wildcard; 09-19-2009, 04:56 AM.Originally posted by Leftwich 2-14-2009I wasn't comparing myself to Wildcard. The guy had a 30-28 record with the Chargers, who had a top 10 running attack in two of those seasons. One of the seasons they had the 11th ranked defense. He ended up getting swept by Jake ''The Snake '' Plummer and Chad Pennington twice in one of those seasons. That's not exactly a great record. San Diego hasn't missed the playoffs since getting rid of him, by the way. Philip Rivers even once lead them to a playoff victory, while having the 25th ranked defense in yards allowed.
''But the kicker missed.''
Maybe so.. but Drew Brees threw 3 interceptions in those two losses to New York, while Chad Pennington played flawless football. And I can't even begin to explain how the fuck you manage to get swept by ''The Snake.'' Philip Rivers can win with a bad defense, Peyton Manning can win with a bad defense, Kurt Warner got to the superbowl with the 19th ranked defense... What exactly does Drew Brees need? The Baltimore Ravens defense, in which Trent Dilfer had, but gets mocked and laughed at for being carried?
So, if we stick Brees in a defense like that, and he wins a superbowl, do we mock him, too? I mean, we almost have to, because he can't win jack OR shit with anything less, right?
Dude, did I just post again? Rush, ban me for 24 hours, seriously.
lol, you guys are getting killed in a football discussion by a dude in a dress... ouch.
Originally posted by Jorth3Read my statement that I just quoted for you, about my bottom 5 isn't the greatest. But hey thanks, for pointing that out again for me.
I thought so..
Yes, I have Drew Brees at number one, and yes I have Jimmy Clausen in my avatar. Thanks, for restating that.
But, it's cool. I don't mind getting a opinions on my list. It's obviously not perfect?, What list is going to be? Everyone is going to have some homerism, and everyone is going to have different opinions. Like how most of you have Hasselbeck as a top 10 qb. In my opinion, I don't think he even sniffs the top 10. I could think of 15 qb's that I would rather have on my team then him.
And obviously I can tell you guys aren't a fan of Drew Brees. So I went and looked up some qb's and stat's and what not, so this my new top 10 list. I can say, that after lookin' things up, I can see my head was in a Fantasy League, not the "NFL". I was going from a fantasy outlook. So the new list...
ben also plays on a team that is not too stupid to run the ball.

Well I think Montana is a better QB than Dan Marino, but Marino the Better passer, so as of right now, because Ben has two rings, he is the better QB. However since Romo's been a starter (no manipulation) He has been the better passer. (Injuries are no excuse. For either of them.)
Romo 26 wins
Roethlisberger 29 ... in 7 more games.

lol, you guys are getting killed in a football discussion by a dude in a dress... ouch.
you failed on the first attempt, got brow beaten and then changed your list to try to save face. fail on all accounts, by fli flopping you now are tagged as weak minded and an idiot, go job... welcome to vsn.
it's that passer rating that wildcunt is so hung up on, you know the one wher romo is so bad ass cuz he has the highest career rating, when he has started 2 full years... log7ic when dealing with cowboys fans is always a losing battle.
ben also plays on a team that is not too stupid to run the ball.
love is not quite a string enough term...
dont forget ben also has 2 wins in the super bowl and 6 playoff wins, 3 on the road. and i think you mean if romo wins in december and january...
you cant see why becasue your a blind homer, the sad fact that you are already building an excuse for them to fail in december by crying about the schedule shows that even though you would suck romo's cock and let it be shown on the new big screen at dallas stadium even you know they will lose. you have to get a grip and learn to listen and for god sakes, take off those blinders...

However, I think Tony Romo has more accuracy, and raw talent than your man love Ben Roethlisberger, and all of a sudden I'm some huge homer?
Let's face facts.
Ben Roethlisberger has a better post season record than Tony Romo.
Ben Roethlisberger has 2 Super Bowl Rings, and Romo has none.
Ben Roethlisberger is a first round draft pick, while Romo goes undrafted, and spends 3 years on a practice squad.
Ben Roethlisberger played great his first year as a starter, and rode the wave to SB Glory, while Romo played on a much shittier team, and saved the Cowboys season from de-railing, by leading them to the playoffs, and a playoffs victory, but fumbled a snap.
Ben Roethlisberger has put up numbers that aren't as good as Romo's since Romo has made his debut.
All of the stats have been said a million times, so we already know that statistically Romo is better than Ben. I do't have to bring em up.
0-2 isn't a horrible playoff record.
And I'm just wondering. If Romo is so horrible in the clutch, why is he still so good in the 4th Quarter?
I'm not making these posts to brag about Antonio Romo. But everyone shits on him so badly that it seems like I have to defend him. If people shit on your QB, and you knew he was good you'd be doing the same thing. HELL you are doing the same thing by sticking up for Roethlisberger when I said someone who you think is worse, is better.
Another question Jake. How come you have no problem at all with me putting McNabb ahead of Ben? McNabbn has the same useless amount of rings Romo has, but you just seem to not care, because apparently choking in NFC Championship Games and Super Bowls is fine, but god forbid Romo drops a snap, and loses to the SB Champs. Is it because you just hate Dallas so much that it hurts you to acknowledge anything good they do? Or hurts you that someone put Romo over your precious Ben? Stop being such a fuckin hypocrite saying I'm a homer, when your hatred for a team outweighs all of your opinions.
While I'm at it... DeMarcus Ware >>>> James Harrison.
I have a huge feeling that if we were in 1995 right now you'd be trying to tell me Neil O'Donnell is better than Troy Aikman.Last edited by Wildcard; 09-19-2009, 07:16 AM.Originally posted by Leftwich 2-14-2009I wasn't comparing myself to Wildcard. 1. mcnasty hs won in the playoffs, he has even been the catalyst for some of those, while alos being teh reason for the losses. also mcnasty has never been surrounded by the amount of talen anthony homo has and is.
2. romo is surrounded by more talent on Offense than ben ever has been, including an offensive line that is light years better than the steelers, except for that fat faggot flozell adams.
3. i call you a homer, becasue you are. you once made thread saying that people hate on dallas for no reason and you just wanted to know...
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWTdbPjsBSs&feature=related"]YouTube - kerrigan[/ame]
4.i do have a problem with you putting mcansty ahead of ben, cuz aftre last year he passed him
5. dont even try to bring up 4th quarter comebacks, especially in the regular season when ben made an epic one in the fucking SUPER BOWL
6. neil o'donnel is dead to me. he not better than aikman, he never was, he never will be in. in fact, i hope the money that jerry jones paid him to throw that game to that sorry excuse for a team led by the biggest fake ass bum of all time is all gone and the bitch ass punk is on food stamps. aikman wasnt great, if fact he doesnt even crack the top 15 of all time, but he won and that is enough.
7. super bowl ring count..
pittsburgh steelers = 6
everyone else < 6
P.S. your son looks like me.

Big Ben is gonna be in the Hall one day, and it'll probably be pretty easily by the time his career over.
Romo has proved nothing in his NFL career, rather than he's a good QB when it matters least. Congrats and good luck with that. To argue Romo over Ben at all is comical.
