      That was his.

Great drive, by the way. But an exception to his playoff career.

How bad is it that Romo throws 3 INTs with the best rush attack in the league?

        He can't read basic defenses.

The bigger the game, the bigger the fall.

Nice avatar, by the way. But 21 points the Dallas D gave up last game was a direct result of Tony Romo's play.

You mean last seasons playoff game v the Bolts? where Pitt put up 35 points .... 7 of which coming from a punt return

"Game ball goes to Willie Parker"

"Parker surpassed 100 yards in a playoff game for the first time in his career, finishing with 146 and two touchdowns. Parker carried the ball 27 times -- his most attempts since Week 2 -- and opened up the play-action passing game for Ben Roethlisberger by consistently gashing San Diego's defense."

Sorry, 28 offensive points put on the board, while another 7 could've also been put on, had Santonio Holmes not taken care of it first.

Ya and he still had them in the lead in the 4th quarter. I guess him converting on key 3rd downs means nothing. I guess you dont take into account how shitty the Cowboys defense has been this decade, compared to a Defense like the Steelers or Patriots.

I dont excuse Romo for his play, but he had us in position to win the game despite how he played. He overcame it, you cant ask your QB to do much more than that. Hes done it countless times and will continue to do so. Giants punted 3 times all game, defense is shit.

Yeah I can only shudder to think how hard Big Bens game must have been with Parker rushing for 146yards and 2tds (5.4) .... compared to Addais staggering 2.7 YPC .

I feel like Grossman was robbed of his second SB td now .... seeing how Hester "took care of it first"

He drove against the Steelers the year they won the superbowl, Vanderjagt missed the kick. Too bad Nick Harper didn't take care of it first.

Anyway like I said pointless debating. You're the dude who trashes Romo for throwing 3 INTs against the Giants, then blames the wide receivers when Cutler throws 4 against Green Bay.

Dallas had the 8th ranked defense in 2008, and still missed the playoffs. Why? Because Tony Romo threw 6 interceptions in the last 4 games, ''helping'' his team win 1 game.

I CAN ask a star quarterback to do more than what's he did against New York.

Kornstar once tried to tell me Hines Ward was a better receiver than Marvin Harrison.

                      True story.

It's truly pointless to argue with him about anything. Have you seen Madden Nation? This guy was a cocky bastard BEFORE he started making money playing a video game. Just let him think what he wants.

You can tell i like stats and use them in all my arguments, but i can say, that stat is complete Bullshit. Ill tell you why... Dallas often won the time of possession battle so the opponents had less time on the field, add the 50 plus sacks and that equals alot of negative yards. Besides that Dallas' special teams is not that good and often gave up field position. Not to mention they dont get turnovers.

I can tell you as a Dallas fan that the defense sucks and has sucked for a while. 8th ranked is misleading at best. Plus i dont think Romo gave up back to back 80 yd TD runs at the end of the Baltimore game. He did throw the game winning pick six but the defense once again got torn apart when we needed them the most against Pitt. No one showed up for the Philly game.

Yeah. Stats are usually misleading, especially when they're used against you.

                          I hate that shit, too.

fail. turnovers, specifically int's, are alway a relevant stat when talking about the sucess of a qb and/or his team.

I remember that INT against Pitt that sealed the game was Wittens fault. He ran the wrong route, and he was the hot receiver, and forgot he was, he wasn't even looking for the ball. Not really an excuse, but it wasn't totally Romo's fault.

Anyways, Romo missed 3 games, 2 of which we lost to horrible teams, and I think if he played in those games, we could have got a win we needed for the playoffs. But injuries to your starting QB are no excuse. Just like how Warner sucked after he broke his finger?

If you want to see comedy check out Dallas' December schedule this year.
@ NYG vs SD @ NoLa @ WAS vs PHI ---- Should be lots of lulz and fails for another year of Romo not winning in December. Even the best of the best probably lose a game or two in the stretch.

In the same post this guy both down plays stats (ZOMG stat padder!!1!!1!) and then tries to use stats as the basis of his argument. Which is it? Stats or no stats? .
                                Victories... postseason victories.

The stats I used, were in response to a guy who felt the need to use regular season stats, as a reason why Drew Brees is better... See, that's how Brees' fans attempt to state their case, since he is and always will be a stat padder.. Even going by regular season stats, which I don't care about (read this part slowly), Kurt Warner is clearly the better quarterback. Perhaps you should actually read through the fucking thread before posting?

I didn't bother reading the rest of your post, since you probably continued on without actually having any idea what any of us are discussing.

Stats, victories, post season victories, you choose - Doesn't matter which, Kurt Warner has the edge in just about everything. It's really a huge waste of time comparing the two, so I'll go down a bit on my top 10, to a guy more on Brees' level... Let's say - Donovan McNabb. Donovan is at 6 or 7, a spot or two higher than Drew Brees. Drew Brees won't even be on my top 10 after this season, if he doesn't come away with at least one playoff victory, which I fully expect him to do. If he does, I may bump him up to #7. I'd say 7th is fairly accurate for a stat padder.
