Ugh. I'm so sick of hearing about Trent Dilfer. I don't think anyone argued that a teams defense didn't help them win. Good TEAMS win the Super Bowl. Period. It's not like basketball where 1 or 2 good guys can sometimes swing the difference completely. Of COURSE a good defense has something to do with winning a Superbowl ring. But to discount guys that played just as big of a part is silly.

anyway In Dilfers 8 starts its true they went 7-1 and 11-1 total but he was 12 tds 11 ints 1502 yds and had a higher interception ratio than Banks. wasent like he was better.

Why was he holding? The Raiders (not that we're a great team) have Lechler (our punter) hold on to balls for field goals. I never understood why they had Romo doing it. . . what had he got hurt on that play or something?

Or if he'd ended his season even before that because he was doing something a backup or punter should be doing. . . If he's so valuable, he shouldn't be holding-onto balls for field goals.

Peyton doesn't do it, Brady doesn't do it, even Eli doesn't do it. Just saying.
