He had to be airlifted and have major reconstructive surgery on his face.. This is why after you can't lift dumbbells anymore there's really no point in getting any bigger.

That sucks reminds me the time my dad was bench pressing and when he was going down, he saw my little sister right under the bar so he moved quickly to prevent from hitting her and when he moved the wieghts he lost his balance and the bar fell on his chest and snapped 3 ribs clean through the skin. Scariest moment of my life was seeing that shit and feeling so helpless to do anything.

What do you mean the real world.

        This is the real world.

What's the point of doing anything?

He had 3 surgeries to repair is vocal chords, adams apple and muscles in his throat. docs say everything went well and feel good about his potential for recovery.

hopefully he gets a medical redshirt and is healthy to play next season. if not, i hope he can live a normal life without football.

I was one of those cats. I don't do that shit anymore.

I had muscular failure once and had the weight collapse onto my chest. Big brusie right across for a few days. Can't even imagine it hitting my throat.

One of those things you read and it hurts just thinking about it. I can't imagine going through that.

Hope he gets well and can play again.

Anyone remember the video when the guy is lifting (I think it was dead lift, but maybe squat) and his leg snaps in half?
