Enough is enough. Peyton Manning is the greatest QB of all time.

Just want to note that the Colts have that very same kicker and previously had the most accurate kicker the NFL has ever had and holds the streak of 42 straight FG's.
I guess this suggests that clutch > stats? Cause the Colts are lacking in that dept.
Or at least Clutch + Good or Great stats > No Clutch + Elite stats?Comment

Part of me has to wonder too how skewed Mike V's accuracy numbers are since he kicked indoors for at least half his games.Comment

The Colts also won their Super Bowl with Adam V. Mike V missed some big FG's for the Colts and ADam was injured this season obviously. Brady got the Pats into position for those kicks and he gets credit for that but it also has to be remembered that Adam V was great enough to nail those kicks in those conditions.

Mike V got to play in optimum playing conditions more often than not, which is how champions are decided. So he was the most accurate on the championship "settings" therefore he's championship calibur. Vinatieri earned his stripes by using wind and shit, fucking cheese as far as I'm concerned. Did you know that snow adds +5 to kick accuracy? Cheat2win gopatsgo!Comment

Colts were outcoached, which isn't a new thing for them. Thankfully they got Lovie Smith and the Bears a couple years ago, at least they knew they couldn't possibly have been outsmarted in that one. lolComment

Yet, it wouldn't make a difference without this guy:
Let's have a little fun.
Career postseason numbers
Player A: 62% completion, 28 TD, 15 INT, 85.5 QB rating
Player B: 62.9% completion, 28 TD, 19 INT, 87.6 QB rating
Which one is Peyton and which one is Brady? Which one is Mr. Postseason, Mr. Clutch and which one is choker supreme postseason failure Peyton Manning?Comment

Oh. See that's weird. They play pretty similarly in the post season yet one has four appearances and the other has two.
It's almost like there are other factors that are in play. Naaaaaahhhhh.... Peyton Manning just isn't clutch, doesn't have enough grit, not a leader, not a winner or any other number of intangible nonsense! Makes perfect sense!Comment

Peyton has 2 TD's in 2 Super bowls. One from a blown coverage where Wayne had nobody within 20 yards of him and the other was taking advantage of an injured starting CB.
Who's fault is it that Peyton does dick all in the big game?
Is it the kicker's fault?
Is it the defenses fault?
No.
He's in control. He runs the offence, he picks his plays and he throws the ball. His guys catch just as well as any other QB's targets so it's not their problem.
It's all on him.Comment

It's all on him that his defense allowed Brees to tie the Super Bowl record for competitions?
That's interesting.Comment
