I support the Bengals, Panthers, Cleveland Indians, Celtics, and Notre Dame. I've experienced heartbreak. But they are still my teams.

What's annoying to me is when you've supported a team through the thick and thin. And then you see people who didn't, jump on the wagon when the team is doing great. Ohio is notorious for this.

Take the Cavaliers, I started really watching basketball in the late 90's. Cavs had all this hype surrounding them and flopped, year after year, after year. Still I supported them, still I went through every losing season hoping for the best. Then came LeBron James. And I was ecstatic. Until all the "Cavaliers" fans came. Then all the sudden EVERYONE cheered for the Cavaliers, I couldn't take pride in my team being talked about because of so many bandwagon riders.

I'm a Cleveland sports fan and will be until the day I die.

This. Bandwagon jumpers suck. Its kinda nice to find fellow fans when your team is sucking, you find out who the real fans are for when the team is good.

I havent missed a Lions game in 4 years, and even though they suck I always get excited to watch them and at least at the start of the game always think they have a chance to win, but with like the Wolverines, last eyar was hard t watch them because they just werent fun to watch because they had no QB, even though I never missed a game, I was never excited all week long to watch them play.

I'm a Lions fan, our "good times" only come when you play Madden franchise mode on rookie.

the year I became a Pats fan they went 5-11 in Bledsoe's rookie year.

I just lucked out they hit up a Super Bowl a couple years later, then after a some average/sub par seasons we did what we did in this decade.

i'm no bandwagon jumper, if you know anything about the Hamilton Tiger Cats and that I've supported them since 1993......yeck. They had a .190 winning percentage in THIS DECADE coming into this season (wooo 6-8....:couch...worst of any team in pro sports.

But I'll be watchin when they play.

Do the Texans count? I hated them but then 2 or 3 seasons ago I got stuck watching em every week and I got use to them. First time I followed a team throughout a whole season and saw every game.

I try my hardest to watch every game even if they do suck. If I lived in Atlanta, I'd still go to games.

I was going to Hawks games when we won 13 games. I sat through 6 Falcons home games quarterbacked by the Doug Johnson/Kurt Kittner experience. I sat on my couch for 6.5 straight hours, only to see the Braves lose in the 18th inning in the last playoff baseball game I had a rooting interest in.

So yes, I support my teams while their bad. Fuck anyone who doesn't.

I will always support the Colts. The past decade has been awesome obviously, but I can remember as a little kid watching the Pittsburgh AFC Championship game where Jim Harbaugh had that last second hail mary that was nearly caught.

Met Jeff George when I was like 2 also, lol.

The Pacers have driven me crazy lately, but this is really the first time I've had to deal with them not being very good.

I'm a Lions fan through thick and thin even if they piss me off so bad sometimes. You'd be surprised how many die hard Lions fans there are that stick with the team no matter what. I gotta say that our fan base is pretty damn loyal and I'm proud to be apart of it.

I still watch the games, but I don't get excited as I was when we were great in 2007. But I still tune in every Sunday and hope the Jaguars can pull out a win, and every time they play the Eagles, Jets or Giants I make the trip, even if it's preseason.

bandwagon jumpers is a childish term. Sports is nothing more than the ultimate in reality entertainment. If a team is winning ,of course they attract more attention, its the reward for winning. You sell more product etc.

I have favorite teams- Rams, Packers ,Redskins, Lakers, Dodgers, Angels, A's, Blackhawks, You pick a team to favor so you can take a little pride in them winning. Ultimately, they are paid entertainers who dont care about me.

If they win ,great! if not, got to go on with life anyway. If my favorites suck, there is no point in watching them. That , in no way, shape or form, makes me a fair weather fan. It makes me a smart person who doesnt waste his time.

That being said, I am still a sports fan in general. If there is nothing on but a div2 or div 3 football game, I will watch it, Because sports is an interesting morality play of spontaneous moments played out right in front of you .
