OSU lost to a team that's turned the ball over than any other Division 1 team....
Really Ohio State? PURDUE?!

Point blank, this was the worst football I've seen from this team since the 2006 Florida game. The offensive line had one of its worst games in years and the defense played solid considering they were on the field as much as they were.
When you turn the ball over as much as we did your not going to win the football game. You can see the potential Pryor has but he's just trying to make a big play out of everything when he can make the smart play. Case in point: throwing the ball up for grabs when he had 10 yards of running room in front of him. I think it's pretty obvious that our expectations were too high for him this year. These learning experiences will help him grow, but it doesn't appear they will pay off until his junior or senior year.
Any of the shit we take for this loss is well deserved.. we lost to fuckin' Purdue. 1-5 Purdue, who turns the ball over more than anyone else in the nation? Thats just embarrassing.
This isn't a great offense by any stretch of the imaginiation right now, but they are very young and very inexpeirenced, but they are still talented. Pryor, Devier Posey, Duron Carter, Mike Adams, JB Shugarts, Mike Brewster, and others are just freshman and sophomores so there is still a long way to go for them.
Lastly, any Buckeye fan that wants Jim Tressel fired is a dumbass.Last edited by Sportsbuck; 10-17-2009, 03:59 PM.Comment

Tressel needs an offensive coordinator that knows how to use a QB like TP and we also need someone to be our "play caller" and "decision maker" because Tressel fails at those 2 things. Tressel is a very good team manager, although he didnt take care of business today like he always does, we never lose to bad teams. Even though we lost this game and our ranking will plummet, it doesnt matter in the sense that we still control our own destiny in the Big TenComment

i love this talk about how Purdue has turned the ball over more times than anyone this season, when what really matters is that which team turned the ball over more today, Ter.. i mean Ohio State. I don't care what the comentators said after the game, OSU lost the game way more than Purdue won it, you can call it forced turnovers, yet when you have a QB throw the ball up for grabs and carry the ball in one hand with his arm extended out from his body anyone can force those type of turnovers.. oh lets not fail to mention grabbing a facemask on 3rd down when you are trying to get the ball back ending any chance of coming back, now flat out Ohio State gave Purdue the game, it was a classic example of giving a game away. I dont' know if Ohio State took the game lightly or Pryor is really that bad, but this team is in serious trouble if they don't get their shit together.Comment

honestly i am starting to wonder what Bauserman can do for us, because I have seen what Pryor can do, and sure there is no question he can make plays to win the game, but he also has tendency to flat out lose games for us, this team won a NC without a playmaker at QB but a guy who avoided losing the game for us.
But i disagree i think Pryor is the guy he's just not a true QB and we need to stop treating/using him like he is. He is a runner. He should be rolling out EVERY PLAYComment

The offense needs to establish a vertical passing game because if we don't teams are going to keep playing a 2 shell all game on us.Comment
