My point is stats are always misleading, way too many variables in football to constantly bring up why some one is better because of more pass yards/TDs.
Then there's too many variables in football for you to keep pointing at Roethlisberger's rings.

          Another dumb comment.

Marino has 14 years of stats/experience on Ben.

It's pretty safe to assume, however, that Ben will probably go down as one of the best QB's of all time by the time his career is over with what he's accomplished already at such a young age and how much more football he has left in him.

            Not at all.

QB play in the playoffs takes prescedent more so then any nice regular season numbers for a QB's career. Wins are also a QB stat when it's all said and done. May not agree with it, but it's how it goes.

            The HOF agrees with me.

Ben Roethlisberger will never, ever be in the debate for the greatest of all time. He's a good, sometimes great quarterback. He probably won't end up top 10, he's not even top three of guys currently in the league.

Right, which is why Roethlisberger played like garbage against the Seahawks but still got a ring.

I swear you're one of the most ridiculous posters on this site. In one thread you accuse Manning of "Trent Diflering it" in the Superbowl, the next thread you're singing Big Ben's praises when he went 9/21 with 2 INTs in his first one.

                Makes no sense.

Right, because you automatically just start in the SB, and don't have to do anything to get there.

Let's just discount what it actually took to get the team there, AKA, the whole championship run, because of one game.

Big Ben's first ring he won his playoff numbers were 8TDs, 1 INT.

I never accused Manning of "Trent Dilfering" it in the SB, I accused Manning of "Trent Dilfering" his entire body of work in that post-season, not just off one game.

                      Dumbass.

Really. By the end of his career you honestly think that Ben Roethlisberger will be discussed as the greatest quarterback to ever play the game of football? You're a fucking joke.

He isn't better than Brady, Brees, Manning, Favre or even Kurt Fucking Warner on the all time scale. Brady and Manning will finish top 5 all time, Favre is debatable, Brees and Warner won't.

Ben is a good quarterback who sometimes steps up, that is all!

Big Ben is only in his 6th season. Do you not understand the concept of "on pace"?

He has 2 RINGS already, a ROY award, has been to the probowl, and has all the time in the world in his career to build up great stats. He also has the all-time best QB win percentage so far on the basis of at least 5 seasons.

Which is the only thing that puts any other QB you listed over him. All those guys have played WAY MORE then he has and it's much easier to project how they will end up when it's all said and done.

He's a QB who has stepped up his ENTIRE CAREER so far. Which is why he's on PACE to be one of the best to play the game with all the things we know now.

He's only getting better as a QB and his stats will only get better with time.

The stupidity from some of you guys never ceases to amaze me.

Whatever, point still stands. Can't accuse Manning of"Trent Diflering" and leaning on his run game and defense, say there's too many variables in football to rely on stats, then try to point to Roeth's rings, leading the league in passing through 5 games and call him an all time great.
