Whatever, point still stands. Can't accuse Manning of"Trent Diflering" and leaning on his run game and defense, say there's too many variables in football to rely on stats, then try to point to Roeth's rings, leading the league in passing through 5 games and call him an all time great.

And yes I can, because a QB's career/legacy is more predicated on their playoff play then anything else.

Big Ben is only in his 6th season. Do you not understand the concept of "on pace"?

He has 2 RINGS already, a ROY award, has been to the probowl, and has all the time in the world in his career to build up great stats. He also has the all-time best QB win percentage so far on the basis of at least 5 seasons.

Which is the only thing that puts any other QB you listed over him. All those guys have played WAY MORE then he has and it's much easier to project how they will end up when it's all said and done.

He's a QB who has stepped up his ENTIRE CAREER so far. Which is why he's on PACE to be one of the best to play the game with all the things we know now.

He's only getting better as a QB and his stats will only get better with time.

The stupidity from some of you guys never ceases to amaze me.

He has potential. He's obviously a good quarterback, the stats speak for themselves.

His entire career he's been overshadowed by the Favre's, Manning's, and Brady's in the media.

He obviously has potential. But so does Matt Ryan. I can understand thinking he's on his way to being one of the GOAT, but there's a reason he doesn't get more attention.

I'm not even going to talk about supporting cast; it gets old and people tend to stick to one point and defend it to the death. Peyton and Tom have football knowledge that Big Ben couldn't hope to ever attain, and although his stats reflect the opinion that he DOES belong in today's upper eschelon of players, he will never be more than a guy that knew how to get it done when it needed doing.

Don't worry man, if I took it seriously, I would still be argueing with these idiots. I just walked away because I was told this was a "troll/kid" free forum, and the population was monitored. I don't care to be a part of a forum where they flame more than discuss. Thats not what forums are intended for, and I have better luck on Xbox.com forums. As far as claiming Ben was a GOAT?
