Kurt Warner is playing out of his mind right now.

Sorry to steal Nuk's thunder, but it must be said. With the Viking game in the books, this is the first time a quarterback has posted four consecutive games with a QB rating higher than 120 since Johnny Unitas back in 1965. That's pretty insane, and dude has been playing some of his best football ever - even better than than GSOT era.

The numbers from his last four starts.

    88/121
    72.7%
    1,210 yards
    10 YPA
    12 TD (9.9%)
    0 INT
    137.4 QB rating
    4-0

He should definitely be on the short list for NFL MVP, and I really hope Warner doesn't retire when he continues to play at such a high level. It's been a joy to watch him this season.

    Just giving props when due.

    This thread has potential.

The scary part is, he's playing this well, hurt. He hasn't been 100% all season. If he were black, injury prone, highly overrated, and named ''Steve McNair,'' we'd be talking about what a ''warrior'' he is. But he's neither of those things, he's a winner. Let's just hope he has something left come playoff time.

The difference in how the players respond, and perform when Kurt Warner (hall of famer) is on the field, is truly amazing. It's really a no win situation for Matt Leinart, because the players just simply do not have the same type of confidence in his ability, as they do the hall of famer (Kurt Warner.)

As sad as I was to see him leave the Rams, I'm glad Arizona fans were able to enjoy some of what I enjoyed back in the day. Maybe you guys will come to appreciate it more, instead of booing his ass out of town for some ridiculousy bad back up quarterback named Marc Bulger (die, you fucking scum bag.)

    Go Cards.

He should be putting up those numbers....he's in a perfect spot. HE should get some votes for MVP, but that will go to Peyton...

How about a little credit for the most offensive line? They completely shut down one of the best pass rushes in football last nite to give Warner all day to throw the ball. Give Warner time to beat you, and hes going to, no question. The OLine is the unsung hero right now.

Warner would never have won this game if he didn't have those wrs . He could never throw to himself and beat the Vikings

The Cards defense has got to get some props for last nights game as well. The Vikings were hanging 30+ on just about everybody in the league, they completely shut down Adrian Peterson and forced the Vikings to go into one dimensional passing mode early in the game. They really mixed up their coverages well also, was that a lineman 30 yards down the field that got that first INT?

playing out of his mind = no

doing what a true professional does consistently with other good pieces in place = yes

its only a suprise to people who let the winds change their minds.
