Kurt Warner is playing out of his mind right now.

Here's the point:
Peyton Manning and Kurt Warner make their receivers and offensive line pro bowl caliber. It's not a coincidence Matt Leinart wasn't able to do anything in his two games of playing against average teams. Nuk posted that stat about Fitzgerald never having a 100 yard game without Warner; Warner comes back and Fitzy balls out.Comment

Warner never does get the props he deserves. Dudes one of the best QBs of all time and he's the best postseason QB in the league right now. He's been fortunate to get dropped into two very good situations but that doesn't take away from what he's done.Last edited by Bear Pand; 12-07-2009, 08:17 PM.Comment

Reason #1 I hate NFL fans. They give no credit when credit is due. Funny how Manning was the best QB in the NFL when he had two hall of fame WR's and a great running game behind him, yet Warner has the same pieces and he gets none of the praise.

Warner is a Hall of Fame QB and he should get MVP votes, but if he was in a Offense with a Average talent in his career we wouldn't be talking... people will groan this post, but thats ok.. I have always said that Warner deserves credit and he put himself in the best places he could succeed...Comment

Vinny Testaverde lead the league in pass attempts back in 2000, and we all know what a fucking stud he is. Unfortunately for the Jets, it didn't work out very well.... with the 25 interceptions and all.
It's not the pass attempts that make the quarterback, buddy.Comment

again why bring up Leinart into the mix...I am sure if you put Jamarcus, Ryan Leaf, Billy Joe Tolliver and they would still suck ass. Manning can put up numbers without Harrison.. Warner was average with the giants great with the cards/rams coinicedence?

When Warner makes his move to the NFC West (St. Louis and Arizona) against lesser competition, you can see the damage that has been done.
Basically, you cannot factor Warner's stint with the Giants into the conversation about him being a top QB.Last edited by kbpsu; 12-07-2009, 10:10 PM.RIP HK, JJ

Warner was brought in to be a mentor for Eli. He was not expected to play the entire year (or maybe any of the year). As a matter of fact, they were 5-4 during his starts and 1-6 during Eli's. I know that is not a great record but it should be taken into consideration. Plus, take a look at the key players on the Giants that year: Tiki Barber, Amani Toomer, Ron Dayne, Jeremy Shockey. Granted, these players are not bad players, but when you are playing in such a competitive division, they are not going to get it done. Also, Warner was only on the Giants for 1 year. The Rams/Cardinals he was on multiple years, which makes a difference.

[QUOTE=bringbackjimmy;947901]I would like to see Warner play with lesser talent before i move him up on my all-time list... ))))
Dude ,with all due respect( this is all just sports talk for fun)
that is the lamest most illogical , perception is reality, I think therefore I am , pointless statement i've seen tonight ; )
seriously? come on, none of the so called greats would ever be greats if they didnt have 10 other offensive players plus 11 other defensive players and a decent gameplan to help make them look good.
example- it is considered common knowledge by those who played with him and those who watched him that Archie Manning was a damn good/great, quality QB for as long as he played. But the fact is he was never in a situation that helped him thrive. You are competing with and against other individuals. You cant be great all the time. But good/damn good players in better situations-teams- are the only ones with the opportunity to look better than they may be or than the others around them.
Kurt Warner is Damn good and has been such for the majority of his NFL career.Comment

Warner is the man, thats why I like Drew Brees, he is like Warner but with talent
I dont think Kurt is going to have a good game next week, the way Brenda was moving Sunday night Kurt might be worn out by SundayLiquidrob's Top 10 Fighters Rankings
