Did you also predict that the Lions would take Kurt Warner to the final minutes today?

No, but I predicted Larry Fitzgerald would be irrelevant.

My friend responded: ''It's against Detroit, man.''

I don't consider that bragging rights though, since, well, it is Larry Fitzgerald.

Dont forget punch drunk Marc Bulger tossing it up for 300, and the 1 win Rams nearly coming down with a hail mary to knock them off.

The Saints have won a couple games they had no business winning. It's not so easy when you dont get those fluky non offensive TD's to bail you out every week.

I know. I was lolling so hard at the call-in show I listened to today. They really do believe in "destiny" and all that nonsense. They thought they could keep winning each week on crowd noise, fluke plays and 2nd half comebacks.

They will lose in the playoffs.

They have the look of a one and done team, thats for sure.

That secondary stinks. All those TD's were masking that, but you cant get shredded by the likes of 2009 Marc Bulger, Chris Redmon, Jason Campbell, and December Tony Romo and chalk it all up to excuses. Half these guys are off the street. They stink.

The bigger the game gets, the more Brees shits the bed and forces things. Its always been that way. I thought he was past that, and he might be, I guess we shall see.

I was the only other person I believe to join in on the bet and I had Dallas winning by more than you, Nuk.

Plus their big wins don't look that good anymore since the Falcons/Giants/Pats have all fallen off. I really can't think of a win that defines their season. The NFC South is garbage this year. Played Philly with no McNabb. They got two gimme games against the Rams/Lions since they're playing a last place schedule this year. They'll still be a tough out in the playoffs but there's not a huge gap between them and the other playoff teams.

Some of the same things can be said about the Colts but I trust Indy more since they're one of the best organizations in the league.

Don't forget that they were awful at stopping the run before their secondary got shitty. They've had a few starters go down in the secondary, but they at least were getting good play from them to start.

Their run defense has been nonexistent since like week 4 or so. It's amazing they are 13-1, just thinking about it.

I would have joined the bet, but i coldn't get on for some reason....I have been saying a 11-5 since Oakland so i would do the one ban month bet if the cowboys finish less than that....

Good win by Dallas and prediction by Nuk, but the win doesn't mean much and everything was in order for Dallas to win that game.

Hell, I'd bet that Dallas loses its next 2 games.

                            huh?

the win doesn't mean much? How does the win not mean much?

and how was everything in order for Dallas to win? For the love of God don't bring up that NO had injured players.

The win doesn't mean much because Dallas isn't going to win the Super Bowl this year.

New Orleans was undefeated and bound to lose at some point. Dallas had been reeling and had their backs up against their wall, they needed this win more than the Saints did.
