funny trivia note, he'll be coaching Clinton Portis, the same guy he traded for Champ Bailey, i would still have done the trade even today

This is a great hire by the Skins.

Shanny's offense and coaching will really help Campbell and the Skins OL, especially since it looks like the Redskins have Clinton Portis and 2 decent backs in Ganther and Cartwright to go along with a great blocking fullback in Sellers.

Campbell is as good as gone in Washington and i'm not sure how shanahan's coaching has any influence on players getting injured (Oline). You are also forgetting about Betts who is twice as good as Ganther and Cartwright at the RB position

i would be willing to bet since all shanny did was praise snyder in his press conference that he was given some sort of overall authority over the team and the player moves. it will be fine until danny wants to bring in some washed up has been and over pay him and shanny doesnt want him but dan does it anyways.

I bet Portis is as good as gone. They can get just as much production from the backups in the ZBS and save a ton of money. Plus he's feuding with Campbell who will be the starter for at least next season because there's no way they go QB at #6 this season.

First, we have the 4th pick.

Second, rumors have campbell staying as a backup, but i doubt that even happens anymore. Fans are tired of campbell, he's had his chance to prove himself. Redskins will get a QB with their pick and sign some old vet to help bring him into the league.

Really you would use the #4 on Colt McCoy? He's the only real QB available who would fit the Shanhan mold of a moving pocket. You can't line up his smaller blockers to take on pass rushers head on, the Colts proved that time and time again in the playoffs. He'll bring in mobile lineman and move the pocket, and IMO Campbell is as effective if not more effective than any QB in this year's draft will be at doing just that.

Clausen is pretty mobile and still was this year even with torn toe ligaments....I don't know if he's worth the #4 pick though

If he doesn't pick a QB, and Jason Campbell falls flat on his face again, he's going to have hell to pay. Especially with Mr. Iwantresultsnow Snyder.

Let us not forget the pick 6 Campbell threw on a RB SCREEN play
