I really don't know what Kiffin has done to deserve this job. He was the lesser half of the OC job between himself and Sark, but because Sark turned down Oakland, Kiffin got the job there. He gets fired and goes eventually to Tennessee, where he really doesn't accomplish much except controversy. He then earned the head coaching job at USC?

I just don't see what USC is thinking. Instead of hiring a conservative coach who will put the program in order (Butch Davis at Miami), they take a risk and hire someone who has done nothing but start controversies where ever he has head coached. Its almost like they don't realize they were just part of a 5 year NCAA probe.
