A lot of people hate Kiffin and rightfully so, but you have to admire his guts. The guy has proven that he isn't afraid to ruffle a few feathers and isn't intimidated by anyone, be it Al Davis or Urban Meyer.
A lot of people don't like that about him but the guy is doing what he wants to do and I can't blame him for it. He's gotta do what makes him happy and not just do what other people want him to do or think he should do.
He's putting himself first and foremost and that's what you gotta do if you want to be happy. He didn't plan this out, I don't think he wanted to leave Tennessee but the fact is that he is a west coast guy and not made for the south and it doesn't get any better than USC out west.
Guy is obviously a prick and has no problem with being an asshole but he knows how to coach and does what he wants to do and is a great recruiter. He will do well at USC as long as he doesn't let his players run wild.
His dad and Orgeron are going to make a huge difference in terms of recruiting and coaching for SC. Honestly, those 2 alone easily replace Carroll.
