He must have watched NFL Network, cuz they were saying it wasn't a penalty on there. Same with the Ray Lewis Helmet-to-Helmet

lol who on NFLN said the helmet to helmet call was BS? I have a sneaking suspicion it was Neon Colt Hating Deon. Ray Lewis clearly lead with his helmet. Plus he's been flagged for doing something similar already this season so he should know that's not allowed.

If you watch the play he didn't intend to go helmet-to-helmet, he put his shoulder down and the receiver put his head down. And it was actually Mariucci and Jamie Dukes.

btw, Archer said last night the call was Bullshit.

"we got away with one on that deep pass down the sideline . Gary wasn't the playing the ball at all . Oh and the Lewis helmet to helmet was bs"
So even a fellow colt thought so.

I hate the rule but according to the rule it was a penalty.. it's one of those you hate to see called though. I'd rather not get that kind of help.

The PI call was legit imo though.

I have no problem with him retiring so he can spend time with his family.

Hasn't he been injured for most of the season? A lot of these guys have made enough money to live comfortably for the rest of their lives. Especially guys like Reed. Many people forget that he almost had a career-ending neck injury a couple years ago that started the whole retirement thoughts in his head. I know he's been complaining of nerve problems in his neck and shoulders since the injury.

Because of pride and love. It's hard to retire from the league. Look at Favre. That fucker has retired 43 times. Still can't stay away. It's hard to retire when you feel like you can still be a top player in the league.

                  Ravens at Colts.

Can someone find a video and pinpoint the time when the interference occurs?

I don't understand why the commentators were saying Ray Lewis had hit a "defenceless receiver" and that Collie had dropped the ball before he was hit. To me it looked as if the hit is what had caused the drop, I saw Lewis lead with his arm from the camera view looking into the endzone from where the QB stood.

Brett Favre thinks Ed needs to suck it up.

Checkout the latest stats for Ed Reed. Get info about his position, age, height, weight, college, draft, and more on Pro-football-reference.com.

Five-time Pro Bowl, four-time All-Pro, third in interceptions among active players, 27th ever, (46), 384 total tackles.

Based on stats alone, he could be first-ballot HoF.

We'll see him next year. You know Ray Lewis would probably talk him out of it.

I thought the Reed pick was PI and it was also PI when Brackett failed to play the ball down the sideline . Luckily for us Brackett got away with it

I still think the helmet to helmet was bs . I know it's a rule but how can you say he hit a 'defenseless' receiver when his hit caused Collie to drop the ball

Word is Ed Reed is being forced to play minor-league baseball for 18 months to cover up his gambling addiction.
