Anyone but Brett Favre - if Favre wins the Super Bowl, I am going to puke

From this point on, I am an avid fan of any team that is playing Brett Favre.

I am so sick of the Favre crap.

"He looks like he's having so much fun out there!!!"

    Jets and Favre

I would die a happy man if either of them win.

with jets having the preference over Brett.

Yeah I think I'm going to be looking for a Saints shirt or cap to be wearing around on campus this week just to piss off all the Minnesota fans. Minnesota fans are the worst (the vast majority). I have no problems with REAL Minnesota fans. But most are VERY fair-weather fans.

Last year they couldn't even sell out the Metrodome for their playoff game, but as soon as Brett signs they sell out everything. That should say all you need to know about those fans.

I'm hoping Favre and co. wreck through New Orleans. If there's one thing more annoying and repetitive than "He's having so much fun out there!" it's..."This is a team of destiny, all that New Orleans has been through, it's our time"

May the Vikings beat the Saints, and lose to the Colts a week later. Either way, I'm rooting against the NFC Champ in 3 weeks.

This isn't about Minnesota or the Vikings.
I have no problem with either.
Minnesota fans are first-rate, the Vikings a fine organization.

This is all about my hate for the Brett Favre hype.

Yeah, that just adds to it. I don't know if I'll be able to watch ESPN at all this week with all the Favre praising that will no doubt be going down all week.

Brett Favre deserves all the hype he gets. He is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time and is playing some of the best football of his life. Love him or hate him, he deserves respect. I am rooting for him down the stretch, and if you "hate him" you should too, because the sooner he gets a ring, the sooner he hangs those cleats up for good.

Hey I'm just saying you don't see that very often. You'd never see empty seats in Philly or New England come playoff time. There should be plenty of fans out there in the Cities and surrounding areas to eat those tickets up.

I don't deny Favre is a first-ballot HOFer, but IMO, he's football's Roger Clemens. It's all about him.

Ask Thomas Jones (Jets' veteran) about Favre.

Favre projects one image for the cameras and an entirely different image in the lockerroom.

Sorry, can't cheer for a hypocrite like that.

But, again, no doubt he's a hall of famer - just like that jerk Clemens.

Well I didn't want to bring up the smallest since it can be a touchy subject to Minnesota fans, but Green Bay would be the smallest market in the league and yet they not only sell out every game, they have a wait on season tickets of about 30 years.

All bias aside I don't think Brett is going to play well in the Superdome. He has had a history of having problems in opposing domes in the playoffs and has had some awful playoff games on the road in domes (awful as in 6 turnovers in a game awful). That Superdome next week is going to be fucking loud. If Brett comes out and plays as well as he did today I will be stunned. He deserves a ring if he gets past that next week.
