        Embrace the cheese.

Dumbest "football scene" ever in in the replacements. When they are playing Detroit (I think to get into the playoffs) they try and onside kick. The crazy linebacker gets it and runs around wasting time. Ok, silly, but ok.

Then, they rush and call a timeout. After a kickoff.

(In case you forgot, the clock stops after any kicking play).

Hell in Remember the Titans I just hate how all the players run around with the same animations as the players in Madden 64

So I'm watching The Replacaements at the part where they are all in jail, and I'm wondering how the fuck does the deaf guy know when to dance and what to dance to?

Downey Jr looks fucking stoned on the coke son. LOL

I really liked The Program. Maybe that's because it came out when I was in high school and I loved it then. I Also liked necessary roughness back in the day.

Rudy is without a doubt my #1, and I cry at almost every football movie, but this movie shakes me to my core. A+mazing

Rudy is iffy with me. It's between that and Friday Night Lights for #1. Rudy takes it 80% of the time, but Friday Night Lights is so close.

I like the movie Rudy also .

but I dont consider it a great sports movie. Its about a guy not good enough to make the team and got some trash seconds on the field as a charity.

LOL at someone who "likes" the movie completely missing the point behind the movie.

I didnt miss any point. I"m saying their idea of the point they are trying to make doesnt appeal to me.

                          You see MY point ?

its like watching the movie -Ghandi- who wants to sit through three hours of passive resistance ? haha

its an over dramatized movie about high school kids.

I want to see adult scenarios.

He didn't want to be an All-American. So there's really nothing about his dream that he didn't accomplish.

he didnt play for Notre Dame. he was a practice squad lackey. Who said anything about All american ? He really didnt MAKE THE TEAM. Its not a sports movie. Its about a guy who begged his way onto a campus.

As far as real life is concerned, the guy got a college education and thats great. But its not a sports movie. its a gloried failed dream.
