From Rotoworld: Adam Schefter says he is "willing to take all bets" that the Rams draft Sam Bradford #1 overall. Schefter is right a lot so i believe him.

That'd be interesting to say the least.
If they do that, they have the upmost confidence (that a lot of people are having) that Bradford's past injuries will have no effect on his NFL potential. Take away the injury concerns and he probably would be a #1 pick.
If this happens, the Detroit Lions may be dancing in the streets.

Clausen IMO is a mid to late 1st round talent. I'd but McCoy and LeFevour in the late 1st to early 2nd range. Bradford as a 2nd rounder and then Tebow in the 4th-5th Round.Comment

Not sure why it's so LOL worthy when Bradford played in a spread offense and is coming off a pretty severe injury/surgery to his throwing shoulder. Watching Bradford there really wasn't a lot about his game to me that translated really well to the next level, but then again it's tougher to tell with him playing in the spread.
Clausen is no way worthy of a Top 5 pick like some have been saying but I think he'd be worth it around pick 13 or later.Last edited by FirstTimer; 02-26-2010, 02:14 PM.Comment

In case you were wondering this is the weakest QB class since the 2007 draft. The best QB out of that class is arguably Matt Moore or Kevin Kolb... the verdict is still out on all of them especially Brady Quinn who is *gasp* another ND QB from the Charlie Weis system. lol all you want.
Bradford is very accurate but I'm not sure he has the arm for the NFL and the transition from the spread will give him trouble IMO...which could effect his accuracy.
Clausen has more upside IMO, especially if he keeps his head on straight.
Whenever I watched/watch Bradford I never really was amazed by his talent/performances. Oklahoma beat the piss out of teams on offense and you'd look down and Bradford would have real big numbers but I never really came away impressed by many of his throws etc.
Also Leftwich, people forget too that this is the same system that created Jason White and propelled him to a Heisman so Bradford has some "system QB" questions to answer himself.
Not a strong year for QB's no matter what but IMO Clausen is the strongest, but not by much.Comment

Quinn was fortunate to get picked in the 1st round if you ask me.

Then again some could feel that if Clausen growns mentally and stays where he is at physically that he is good enough to be the best QB in this draft class. Maybe some have Clausen graded out higher now than what some people feel bradford etc could become. I'm not saying that's the case or that I feel that just pointing it out.
Really this is such a down year for QB's it's sad. Especially with the Bradford/McCoy injuries and the Tebow LULZ throwing motion.Comment

Stupid argument on your part.
I listed a bunch of reasons I think Clausen is the better pick in general. None of them had anything to do with him being the QB at Notre Dame.
Even if Clausen doesn't exist in this draft I still have Bradford ranked behind those two guys. It's not as if Clausen being in the draft makes me think Bradford is worse than he is.
Draft with Clausen:
Clausen
McCoy
LeFevour
Bradford
Draft with no Clausen:
McCoy
Lefevour
Bradford
What the hell does me liking Notre Dame have to do with any of that?
Last I checked Leftwich isn't an ND fan and agreed with me on Bradford.
Either post something decently intelligent in rebuttle or STFU with you "homerism" cop out BS.Last edited by FirstTimer; 02-26-2010, 05:10 PM.Comment
