Brock's painfully mediocre statistics do him way too much justice.

I'm not sure how old you are, or if you remember Brock, but he was really, really bad. Even with one of the most simplistic passng "attacks" ever constructed, he was horribly inaccurate, and looked like a terrified child coming out of the huddle.

His pocket presence was non existant. I remember him getting sacked non stop, despite the Rams having a very good OL in those days with the likes of Jackie Slater, Dennis Harrah, Irv Pankey, etc

Fortunately, I had missed the Brock ''era.'' I came along when the great Jim Everett took over the reigns, and as bad as he was, and he was bad, I fucking loved the guy. I can't explain what it was, but next to Boomer Esiason, Everett was my favorite Quarterback.

Doesn't Jim Everett have the same number of playoff wins as Drew Brees?

      Hmm.. Interesting.

Everett was great--until about 1991, when he got happy feet and lost his courage.

I'm talking about career postseason wins.

Jim Everett is more on the same level as Drew Brees

Didn't Mark Sanchez do what Brees couldn't do seem to do, until last week, in one season?

Imagine if Minnesota were to win this weekend, the list I already have.

                Answer: Yes.

He sucked cock during the regular season, he's not all of a sudden a good QB because he managed his way to two playoff wins. The defense is to thank.

Yeah.. I know what you're talking about, but what the fuck does Kurt Warner have to do with Drew Brees having the same number of playoffs wins as Jim Everett?

Did Drew Brees suddenly gain 9 postseason wins, a superbowl ring, MVP, and three superbowl records?

i dont think people would disagree with that, its just that the media is making him out to be the second coming of christ (and dude, joe namath interview on espn.com, come on man, seriously) and MM err VSN has always LOVED to skewer players in general, let alone those who are overrated

Don't you mean Chris Everett? It's Chris right?

                          I think it's Chris.

No, no, I'm preeeeetty sure his name is Chris.

Oh I bet I will call him Chris one more time.

for not playing a full season, the numbers arent that bad. You have to look at more than just flat stats. Dilfer was by far a better QB than sanchez is now.
