Ryan Clady would go in the Top 3...he was the best player to come out of this draft...premier LT prospect.
He had a sophomore slump. Sack count from like 0 to 7 or 8.

Long was good as a rookie, but needed work on his pass protection. In his sophomore year he had a horrible week 1 and then went on to allow 1 sack the rest of the season. Also he fits into Miami's gun offense better than Clady. The other two teams in the top 3 can't possibly pass up on QB prospects who have turned out so good.

Clady had 6 sacks allowed in 2009 as opposed to Jake Long's 5.

Clady still goes in the top 3.

(for reference, the leagues best LT, Joe Thomas, allowed 6 sacks this past season).

The Re-Do is a hind sight draft. We know how good these players are now, so we rank them based on now instead of what was presumed prior to the 2008 draft.

Obviously the Falcons wouldn't draft Glenn Dorsey seeing as he shit his pants his first 2 seasons with the chiefs. While players like Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Chad Henne, Chris Johnson, etc... have proven they were worth taking higher/more.

The Falcons would take Sedrick Ellis with their first 1st round pick and then Flacco/Henne with their second. Ellis would tear shit up.

Clady allowed 8, Thomas allowed 3, and Long allowed 4. (3 in week 1)

I don't know what site you're looking at, but I'm looking at www.profootballfocus.com - trustworthy site.

Top LT is very, very subjective. I'd go with Long honestly, although Vollmer played the best out of all of them last season.

            stats.com...even MORE trustworthy site.

I've never heard of PFF, but after checking the site out, there is nothing "trustworthy" about it...it looks rather fifth rate.

I'm not sure I wouldnt still take Chris Long over Matt Ryan, even two years later.

There are a bunch of players in this draft i'd probably take instead Long, but Ryan isnt one of them. Ryan would be labeled a bust by now, because he'd be the same beat up shell of a QB that Bulger is today.

Long quietly had a real good year this year, especially the last half of the season when he looked like a real star.
