I hate all the Favre hype as much as the next guy, but to remember him just because of that pass is ridiculous.
Yes, it was a bad decision, but the guy had a great season ... and frankly was the only reason Minnesota got there.

Minnesota was a train-wreck in that game, all those damn fumbles.
Childress' playcalling was horrendous. Favre was getting killed back there.
Again, I hate all the Favre crap too, but IMO his ankle was too bad to even consider running and he just tried to make a play. Every player makes a bad decision at least one time a game. Sadly, for Favre, it was obviously the worst time.
He got hit nearly 20 times in that game, absolutely inexcusable on Childress' part. Especially when you have RBs like Peterson and Taylor.
And while Peterson deserves his share of the blame, what the hell was Childress thinking only giving his team's biggest weapon the ball 8 times in the first half? WTF?
