Pinning it all on Favre is ridiculous

I hate all the Favre hype as much as the next guy, but to remember him just because of that pass is ridiculous.

Yes, it was a bad decision, but the guy had a great season ... and frankly was the only reason Minnesota got there.

    Tarvaris Jackson = 9-7.

Minnesota was a train-wreck in that game, all those damn fumbles.

Childress' playcalling was horrendous. Favre was getting killed back there.

Again, I hate all the Favre crap too, but IMO his ankle was too bad to even consider running and he just tried to make a play. Every player makes a bad decision at least one time a game. Sadly, for Favre, it was obviously the worst time.

He got hit nearly 20 times in that game, absolutely inexcusable on Childress' part. Especially when you have RBs like Peterson and Taylor.

And while Peterson deserves his share of the blame, what the hell was Childress thinking only giving his team's biggest weapon the ball 8 times in the first half? WTF?

Adrian Peterson shouldn't have had a full-body butter rubdown before the game.

Teams have to fear Peterson, and what happened was that teams tried to stop him, and they forgot about Favre which opened up the passing game.

Overall, the Vikings are such a better team with Favre, and even though I do hate the guy over what happened in Green Bay, he makes the Vikings a scary ass team, although, he is the opposite of clutch when it comes to the playoffs.
Which is why today's game was so mind-blowingly stupid.
What the hell was Childress thinking?
The coach threw his QB under the bus in this one. Favre was getting killed all game. Frankly, it wouldn't surprise me if he threw that INT because he was playing with a concussion. I've never seen a QB get hit more in a game than that one.
Same reason why Eagles have a hard time busting through - their dumb-ass coach (who's actually a solid coach) refuses to run the damn ball and confuse the D.

So, it was Detroit's fault that Charles Rogers and Mike Williams sucked?

i agree, but the facts are that whoever fucks up last is blamed. IMO the saints got lucky as hell to have gotten 6 fumbles and a pick and still need a bone headed play by favre to win just goes to show how good they arent. i hope the saints think this is some destiny shit.

Favre was responsible for 2 interceptions, and a mis-handled ball on a hand off.

A QB will be glorified in success, and will be blamed in failure. If you cant take the heat, then get the fuck out of the kitchen.

So because pinning it all on Favre is ridiculous, you instead go on to blame it all on Childress...
