I think his coverage ability was fine.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think teams see his instincts back there and his size and salivate. He won't be asked to do a lot of man coverage and even if he was, I think his issues with it would be correctable.


Maybe I jumped the gun saying he won't slip out of the first, but I think he's worthy of getting picked end of 1.

He's not gonna run well, so at the least, we know he won't be in Oakland. But seriously, he's gonna be hard pressed to get drafted before Taylor Mays, Chad Jones or even Larry Asante in the next wave of safeties gone after Berry/Thomas.

First round is certainly a stretch for him because I don't think he'll have the speed to eliminate some of the other question marks associated with taking a year off. Especially when he wasn't considered a first rounder last year.

I predict that Rolle is the #3 overall pick, right after Tim Tebow and Jimmy Clausen.

His athleticism and intelligence will make him a very attractive prospect because he shouldn't have any issues adjuting to complex defensive schemes. With his solid Senior Bowl week and a good Combine I could see him in the late 2nd/early 3rd round mix

Anyways, if the Steelers don't take a safety in R1, I hope they would try to get this guy whether it's in the 2nd or 3rd.
