I agree with you concerning the reasons why most of these idiots are actually carrying a gun but more athletes than you might think have been jacked. That said...unless you have a gun on a holster, I'm not sure that carrying a concealed weapon is going to prevent someone from getting the drop on you with their gun and preventing you from pulling yours in defense.
