Don't feed the trolls. You and I both know that the city is much bigger than Bourbon

Most people I've ever personally seen down there was January 8, 2008. Though I didn't leave until January 9th, and I was in no position to drive, and was $100 dollars poorer.

What are you even talking about? Do you even know?

No disrespect, I'm just not following your logic that the MVP award from 1 game that has went to such legends as Mark Rypien is some how more important than a trophy that means you were the best player among a league of 30 teams over a 16-game period.

Really? You took me literally? Don't you realize every sports writer in the world has their dick so far up Warner's ass it's unreal. Whenever they talk about him they always say "Future Hall of Famer" Kurt Warner.

The power speaks for itself. I am not a messenger of the Breesus. I am simply a follower of his glorious ways.

I'm saying he outplayed three future HOF QB's in Manning, Favre and Warner to get his ring, that's crazy good. How many SB winning QB's can say they beat three HOF'ers in the playoffs and outplayed them all?

In fact he also outplayed FHOF QB Brady, and Manning's lil sister this season as well. That's all I'm saying

You know its a team sport right? There were the other 10 guys on the field and the 11 guys who play DEFENSE. They are the same guys who forced Brady, Manning, Favre and Warner into multiple TOs. Without those TOs the Saints would not have won any of those games. This isn't tennis where beating another dude's stats one on one is the name of the game.

Bottom line is this HOF eligibility is considered by how your stats ended up being at the end of your career, for QB the most sought after stat is Passing yards. Brees might have those stats in 7-8 years, thats when HOF talk will happen. If this guy has 4-5 mediocre years, hes going to be talked about HOF eligibility no more than Stabler or Theisman.

So please get off the he beat those guys bandwagon. Theres about 21 other players who had something to do with it, and even Brees acknowledges that.

He was already a POTENTIAL HOF candidate with the crazy numbers he's been putting up, and even if he hadn't won this superbowl if he keeps putting up those kinda numbers he would get in EVENTUALLY. This ring and this playoff preformance bumps him up a few years.

Should I have taken you figuratively when you make a statement saying Warner is already in?

What has Warner done that doesn't warrant the HOF?

Each post you make is somehow worst than the one before it.

I'm not going to try and turn this into a me bashing Kurt Warner thread, because it wasn't the point of my post. However, if I'm not mistaken Kurt Warner is either #1 or #2 in the history of the NFL in fumbles, or maybe it's just QB's. I'm not sure.

In his 11 year career, 6 of his seasons he starts 10 games or less.

That's almost half of his career injured or on the bench. (While still fumbling enough to be one of the biggest fumblers in the history of the sport.)

Just that stat alone doesn't warrant an entry into the Hall of Fame. No matter what position or whoever the fuck it is. YOU SPENT HALF OF YOUR CAREER ON THE BENCH OR INJURED

I'm done talking about Kurt Warner. Sorry, W2B. Sorry, Nukleopatra. I didn't mean to offend, I just had to get my point out there.

If Brees is all of a sudden in the HOF talk, where's Eli?

He beat Romo (*snickers*), Favre (who at the time was playing even better than this purple one) and Brady's (no explanation needed) undefeated Patriots

Still, it sounded ridiculous to consider Eli for the HOF at that point right? I didn't see everyone getting all excited then and rightly so

Same thing applies to Brees.....winning one superbowl does not automatically annoit you for the HOF......check back in a few years and see where Brees is at
