That would be awesome, parlay him for the future and still have a top 10 RB in J Stew...excellent idea, I'd do it.

It's actually Green+Washington. I'd stick with Jones myself, but I wouldn't be shocked to hear they went in another direction.

He wasn't running great when healthy this year. He couldn't even get 100 yards against the Rams or Lions this season. His only 100 yard game was against KC. He averaged 4.0 ypc on the year, and missed 8 games. He just wasn't the same RB he was in '08, even when healthy.

I picked up Charles on three of my fantasy teams this season, yes he was the shit. At one point I had him at #8 on my list, but I couldn't justify him considering all of his big games came on the weak KC schedule late in the season. He's undersized and I can't see him taking 300+ carries next season as teams key him all year. He's an amazing talent though, I just don't know if he'll be top 10 in rushing yards. Again, me being conservative I guess.

Because he's old. That's what they do to old backs. I meant the AFC Championship Game....

Anywho, he's been great. Surprisingly so, considering his age. It probably has to do with the lack of attention he got with Arizona. He was... decent... in Tampa.

It was in Chicago, at age 26 that he really started to pan-out as a first-round pick. I think he's an amazing back, and I think he's really doing so well because of Leon as a backup and because he peaked later...

But, if you watched the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME (sorry for calling it the Super Bowl), you'd see that he wasn't accomplishing much, while Shonn Greene seemingly graduated to the feature back role...

I'm not saying I hope TJ falls-off. In fact, I hope he doesn't. I hope they develop a true three-headed monster next year, but we'll see....

That offensive line is the shit, if TJ stays in town I'll have to remake my list I think...then again Green looked so impressive in the ACCG he earned more touches next season with or without TJ. washington will be always be the next option after Green.

People are reading way to much into a player who's had a couple of good games. Lets just ignore he lead the team in fumbles in the regular season despite a limited role, no lets just put this guy who happened to play well for a couple games and put the ball in his hands more over either one of our two other proven backs. Watch, his carried will be few and far between next season.

I guess we'll see. There are no sure things right now. The Super Bowl was Sunday... The draft is a few weeks away, no notable free agents have been moved around yet... Kurt Warner's the only guy I can think of who's retired... There's a lot of movement to be done.

There's always a youth movement in the NFL, though, especially with runningbacks...

the main point is, he shouldn't even be being mentioned in a top 10 rbs thread, moving on.

I think he's talking about Shonn Greene... It's possible but highly unlikely that he was talking about Thomas Jones...

In either case, the OP brought both of those up in the initial post, not me.
