Now, just because Porter is visiting doesn’t mean it’s a lock he comes to Arizona. But ESPN reported coach Ken Whisenhunt and linebacker Clark Haggans — who not only played with Porter in Pittsburgh but went to college with Porter at Colorado State — were having dinner with Porter in Pittsburgh this weekend, and I’d guess they weren’t just talking about old times. I’d guess they’re talking about what could be in the desert.

Porter isn’t young anymore and he can be a loose cannon. But Whisenhunt knows what he is about and I am guessing there will be an understanding before Porter ever would sign. But having Porter and Haggans as the starters while Cody Brown and Will Davis grow into those roles I think would be a positive move. I also think Porter’s landing spots are limited; the Cards are probably his best place for familiarity and playing time.

Would be a nice coup for the Cards.

Jason Babin is in Tennessee visiting right now.

Not the most productive stats-wise, but he has a great motor and Washburn does wonders with no-name defensive ends.

There are reports of the Bengals seeking Brandon Marshall, but they don't want to part with their 1st.

Can you imagine.. Chad Ochocinco, T.O., and Brandon Marshall. That has the potential be one of the best recieving corps in the history of the game.

Of course, I see the Jets getting him. They seem more willing to part with the 29th pick

I'm not sure how'd i feel if the Jets pick up Marsh, we have 2 decent guys in cotch and edwards.

And if the bengals do sign marsh, then i would be against to signing with them. Why? Because 3 egos that big would be horrendous, especially since one of them won't be the starter.

I would lvoe to see Marhsall go to Cinci just to see how big the blow up would be.

That shounds like a terrible WR corps to me. TO in the slot with those hands? Marshall/TO/OC sharing 1/3 of the targets/discussion/attention?

I would feel bad for Carson Palmer.

He is a hillbilly with no talent. The guy is a joke. If the Titans are smart they will pass on him and just wait til the draft.

Raiders release Greg Ellis and Javon Walker.

With the release of Ellis this may open the door for Jason Pierre Paul being draft by the Raiders in the first round.

Even if they do pick him up, they'll still look for a DE in the first round IMO. He's not the answer, he just adds depth because we like shuffling our line to keep everyone fresh.

The texans traded up with the titans to draft Jason Babin years ago, it would be wild if he ended up in TN.
