I know this is besides the point but I'm fairly sure the league splits all jersey sales evenly.

Tanny is one of the best GM's in the league. Look at his past drafts.

Sanchez, Greene, Revis, Harris, Keller, Leon, Mangold, D'Brick, Cotch... He knows what he's doing.

Should be a good move for New York, should be a good 3rd down back/backup to Shonn Greene there.

LT is not a 3rd down back.

He has great hands for a RB and can get 2 yards up the middle. He's a third down back. We can hit him with a screen or let him do the dirty work. It's not that complicated.

The guy hasn't been able to do the dirty work for a couple years now.

He had 14 TD's last season. He hasn't been able to get anything over 5 yards for a couple years, but he's still been able to find the endzone.

I doubt he'll get the chance to find the endzone as Greene will probably get all carries in the red zone.

This is true. I'm with you that it's a bad signing, but at the very least he's a serviceable 3rd down back who will put fans in the seats.

I never said he wasn't a good Gm read what I wrote.

Nah, we will use him as KR and PR with some WR and runs thrown in our version of Reggie Bush pretty much.

                              YES

The Jets are going EA Sports Madden this offseason. They're pissing into the wind hoping to assemble a Super Bowl team quickly. Dan Snyder must be acting as an advisor for them.

I love this signing.....because it is so terrible. They should have kept Thomas Jones!

I thought it was a good move until I heard they paid him more than it would have taken to keep Thomas Jones. Then I was like....whaatttt??
