It's obvious the Jets are going for the name recognition to sell jersey's and seat, and get primetime games for their franchise and new stadium.

Why? Because it is absolutely fucking retarded to pay MORE money to the guy on another team who has sucked for the last 3 years and just ran for 700-ish yards.....than to the guy who has been solid on your own team and just compiled 1400!!

the leader thing I understand completely...he was a huge + in that regard.

But I never seen a guy luck his way to around 1400 yards.

Watch a kid like Greene run, he's perfect for this offense...runs HARD through holes, gives out punishment.

Meanwhile you have Jones and I kid you not, he would do 1 of 3 things.

1- See a hole, literally fall through it (if a defender was coming for 3-4 yards

2- Run up his blockers ass, negative or no yards

3- run straight through a hole until he gets tripped up.

Now I know LT was doing the same as far as getting a small window and he'd fall on 1st contact it seemed a lot but at least LT gives you something in the passing game, something Jones wasn't an asset in.

LT right now is a better overall option IMO and I feel he can still shift and is more agile than Jones. I feel this is just in case Washington doesn't heal properly and promptly for the season. If he's ok, then we'll have a damn good stable of RB's.
