What do you think the average number is across the NFL? Do you think most teams have more then 8-15?

Schwartz is the best thing to happen to Detroit in the last 10 years other then drafting Calvin Johnson.

This. I'd guess that less than 10% of the players drafted in 2002 are still around.

The average shelf life of an NFL players is 4-5 years. 2002 was a long fucking time ago. As was 2006, really.

Just be glad Millen's no longer around, and neither are the shit players he drafted.

The Packers don't have too many pre ted thompson and mike mccarthy era. Mike Sherman left us with some terrible players. I think the only player left that was drafted by Sherman is Nick Barnett.

I think the point is that out of 38 drafts picks one of them should have turned out to be a franchise player. The best one out of all them is that bum Roy Williams and he is about to be #3 on a depth chart behind a rookie and an undrafted free agent.

I guess Millen was the football god's way of saying "We gave you Sanders and your didn't do shit, now you get Millen"

We'll atleast only 1 player from his 2008 Draft is gone and 2 players are still on the team from his 2007 draft....

Even worse 5 of the 8 picks from 2007 are gone as well. 1 is Calvin the other 2 are bums named Drew Stanton and Manny Rameriz who will eventually be cut. SO in the end between the years of 2002 to 2007 only Calvin johnson will have had a positive impact.

But things are promising because the first draft after Matt Millen got fired we hit good on 6 of them.

EVEN worse is that so far, his 2008 draft so far is straight garbage. I have slight hope for Cherilus, Dizon is amazingly bad, I love Smith, but Best is going to be such a beast, Fluellen I can see getting cut, Avril is probably the best player in this draft and even his future is uncertain, Moore isn't even on the team any more, Felton has been solid at FB so far, I don't even know about Cohen and Caleb Campbell I hope can be a solid backup at LB.

I can see most players in this draft gone in the next 2-3 years, the legacy of Matt Millen will never die!!!

Mike Williams is actually having a good offseason w/ Pete Carrol and the Seahawks and he may make the roster. One of the biggest Millen busts is having success somewhere else, unlike Charles Rogers

Harrington came into a lose lose siuation. There was no way he was going to have success and the losing finally cracked him mentally. He was actually a good player but the Lions Lionized him.
