Riley played WR the year that McElroy started.

Are we going to stop pretending McElroy is actually in the discussion again? He's a game-manager. People keep talking about his record like he was winning games. No. He was coasting on the talent around him.
More so even than Leinart, because at least Leinart looked good because he was actually putting up numbers. McElroy has two stupendous backs and a devastating defense winning him games.
And the thing I can't stand about Locker is that he hasn't done that much in college, but he's supposed to be this stupendous pro prospect. Like, he's very talented, and he's a great athlete, sure, but he hasn't shown to be a great QB.Comment

It's Kellen Moore. I cant think of a QB who is THE guy on his team, and has the same success(individually or team record) as Moore.Comment

I think Locker and Pryor have a lot of potential this year to showcase something.Comment

Surprised nobody has mentioned Andrew Dalton yet from TCU. But my choice has to be Kellen Moore. His TD/INT ratio is too good to ignore. I don't care who you play against, 39 TDs and 3 INTs speaks for itself.
As for McElroy being in the discussion, LOL. He has 2 of the best RBs in the country to take the load off his back (Richardson is going to end up better than Ingram as scary as that is) and a fucking freak of a WR in Julio Jones to throw to. Not to mention he's on a team whose defense is coached by the best defensive mind in CFB. When you throw in the corrupt officiating, and it's hard to imagine any D1 QB failing to go undefeated in that situation.Last edited by NAHSTE; 07-27-2010, 11:42 AM.Comment

Gilbert for UT is going to be great, he was baptized by fire and got his feet wet in the national championship and did decent so now i think he is ready for anythingComment

Landry Jones, Garrett Gilbert, and Blaine Gabbert are going to be that next wave of Big XII QBs that will be in that "Top 10 QBs in the Country" and will be recognized as such by November.
Also, a forgotten player, but maybe the most athletic QB in the country is Robert Griffin from Baylor.Comment
