    Oh, this shit is rich.

AP just put out a story that Favre sexted Jenn Sterger back when he was with the Jets. Sent her naked photos of himself and everything.

Have fun with that one, boys.

I saw that. Won't believe it till it's verified, but it wouldn't shock me.

I can hear the Mr Bill spin already.

Nice to see you've become more rational in my absence.
I don't disagree with the fact that Rodgers is a good QB and has had enough success thus far to keep TT from being ran out of town, which would suck for you since your head resides up his rectum.

        Welcome back

What's to spin? I'd think worse of old Brett if he wasn't trying to put his dick in this....I know I've done worse before

In some odd tortuous way, I did miss all this Favre hoopla and arguing with you.

FWIW, I'm not up TTs rectum. I was calling for both him and McCarthy's head through the first half of last year. TTs failure to build an OLine thus far has pissed me off beyond comprehension. Better be better this year.

I just don't blame him for the Favre deal. At least not entirely. I think theres enough blame to go around on both sides.

LOL @ the deadspin story. I really hope it's not bogus.

The retirement story was a complete bullshit deal started by Brett to get more money out of the Vikings. He did it because he could, plain and simple. He knew if he left now the Vikings would be completely fucked. He ABSOLUTELY texted teammates and personnel that he was done so that the GM and Childress could call him up to talk him out of it and get more money. The only way Childress was going to say he was done was if they couldn't talk him out of leaving with more money, which obviously was done.

How they could come out and say "the Vikings have offered Favre a $7 mil. raise" and then that Favre said "it is not about money" is the biggest bullshit statement in this whole deal.

I don't feel bad for the Vikings at all here because they should've known what they were getting into. They let this situation get way out of control and now they have their whole season invested in Favre coming back.

Amazing what the run the last half of the season did for TT. He was about 8 weeks away from being ran out of town and burned in effigy. Instead the old guys helped anchor the OL and give Rodgers enough time to get rid of the ball and make some plays and TT becomes a genius once more.

Favre and TT are both equally to blame for how things turned out in Green Bay with his departure.

This is all speculation on your part except for the last sentence. The Vikings had every opportunity to get another QB capable of winning games in FA or the draft and chose to pin their 2010 hopes on Favre coming back. That's all on the Vikings.

No they couldn't have gotten anybody else without hurting Favre's feelings! That's the great thing about all of this! Waiting for his decision all the way through training camp handcuffed that organization completely when it came to looking for a replacement. It is pretty well known that Favre was offended when the Packers drafted Rodgers so the Vikings needed to stay in almighty Favre's good graces for any hope that he'd come back to them.

Keep in mind that whole organization is still dependent on Favre coming back. They are desperate to get a new stadium and they can't build it unless they get taxpayer's money and they need public optimism to be at it's highest and how do they get that? A Superbowl run and it's obvious Favre gives them their best chance to do that.

The only thing that's certain with Favre is that there will be drama. Seriously, guy is a drama queen. Seems like he can't take not being in the spotlight...

the media is riding him. He isnt causing anyone to follow him nor does he care if they do.

You know, two or three years ago, I agreed with that. Its the media talking about it every day. But I don't think I have ever seen the man do anything to try to dissuade it the attention. If he made a simple "please respect my privacy on the issue and wait for my announcement" statement, I might believe that he didn't love the attention. But at this point, I'm convinced that he covets the attention as much as Terrell Owens does.
