Good first episode, it showed how awesome Rex Ryan is as a coach. It will be fun to watch this team, but it's tough to gauge how they will do this season. And I have a fantasy draft tomorrow, and I'm thinking about drafting Santonio late. I have a feeling most people will pass on him.

He looked like Cris Carter on that one. Sweet catch.

Pretty sure they'll be too busy talking about super bowl aspirations after making it to the AFC TITLE GAME.

Or else he could mention how Miami also beat them in the Playoffs. Oh my bad, they weren't there.

What they did after that was very impressive. But they overachieved and thinking they can make it to the Super Bowl this season is a fucking joke. Especially without Revis.

There's believing in your team and then there's believing bullshit. Thinking that the Jets or even the Dolphins for that matter will make it to the Super Bowl this year is a pipe dream.
Why, because they had the best defense in football without their top player heading into the season on that unit (Jenkins)? Or is it because they lost their 3rd down scat back 5 games into the year (Leon), who also happened to be a Pro Bowl return man? Or maybe it was because despite having a rookie QB and head coach they still made the playoffs? Nope, wait a second, the Bengals laid down for them two games in a row right? Maybe it was because they were right in the AFC championship til losing CB Donald Strickland and S. Green to injuries. Hard to run the ball when your top guy has a bum knee, his backup is on IR, and his backup just got knocked out of a game.

I believe you're talking bullshit, because NO ONE has New Orleans going to a Super Bowl last year, let alone winning it. No one had Arizona going the year before. Any team can rise up and go on a ru (ok, maybe not any, but a lot of them), so saying that they can't makes you look foolish.

i totally agree. They really backdoored their way into the playoffs. Then got confident and got to the championship game. But no way are they a super bowl team. Playoff team, yes, but not a super bowl team.

i wasnt too impressed with the 1st show. There wasnt really anything entertaining about it

So did anyone hear Dungy's comments about Rex Ryan? He was basically bitching about Ryan using so much profanity. I respect Dungy very much, but IMO, I don't think Dungy has any right to tell another coach how to coach, or speak for that matter.

                        Thoughts?
                        RIP HK, JJ

What do you expect people here to say..."Dungy has the right to tell Rex Ryan how to speak. That is perfectly fine".

My thoughts are that he never was trying to tell Rex Ryan how to coach. He was asked whether or not he would hire Ryan, and he said that he would not.

He's a proud Christian and that is not his coaching style, so obviously he wouldn't hire him.

i use the f bomb as much as anyone, but i was kind of turned off by rex using the word. I guess because its not a word that is openly used by the straight and narrow nfl. yeah we all know players use those words and its no biggie, but when its a coach being televised saying shit like that it comes across as low class non professional
