- Losses against the toughest teams on our schedule (@ Bama, @ Iowa, @ Ohio State).
- Paul Jones takes starting QB job mid-season from Kevin Newsome.
- Evan Royster becomes dark-horse Heisman candidate.
- Michael Mauti has a Paul Posluszny/Dan Connor-esque season.

Robert Morris: 6-5 (1st in NEC, lose in FCS playoffs)

Titans: 9-7 (2nd in AFC South, 7th in AFC)
- Depending on how we get through the first 8 games will determine whether we're a playoff team or not.
- Vince Young continues his progression, throwing for 3000 yards, 20 TD, and 12 INT.
- Chris Johnson misses his goal of 2500 rushing yards, rushing for just 1700 and 14 scores.
- Jason Jones joins Cortland Finnegan and Michael Griffin as defensive selections on the AFC Pro Bowl team.

- Wins over UConn, UMass, BGSU, Indiana, Michigan State, Illinois & Purdue
- Loss in bowl game, RichRod is fired. Les Miles is hired. Although I really would like Mike Leach or Greg Shiano.

Detroit Lions - 6-10
- Wins over St. Louis, Washington, Buffalo, Chicago (at home), Tampa Bay, Minnesota (at home)
- Pro-Bowl season for Calvin Johnson, DeAndre Levy is an alternate. Gunther retires at end of season.

Heisman: Dion Lewis RB Pitt
I see him rushing for 1800+ and 15+ TDs while Pitt dominates the Big East. I feel they have a realistic shot at going into a bowl game undefeated with 1 or 2 losses at the very worst.

Davy O'Brien(QB): Jacory Harris QB Miami
Might not have the professional hype the other big names have but I feel he'll lead an incredibly efficient offense in Miami to a BCS bowl game

Doak Walker(RB): Dion Lewis RB Pitt
Same reasons as above

Biletnikoff(WR): Michael Floyd WR Notre Dame
My top WR in the country. Has great size and hands and amazing body control. Will put up the big numbers he was producing before the injury

Mackey(TE): Kyle Rudolph TE Notre Dame
By far the most dynamic pass catching TE in football after the mass exodus of junior TEs last year.

Outland(Interior line): DJ Fluker OT Alabama
Physically dominant OL who will pave the way for possibly the nation's best offense

Gators lose a couple conference games, but are able to make it into the SEC Champ game, due to sorry ass East division play. Give Alabama a run, but come up short.

I think young Brantley gets some Heisman love later on in the season. Doesn't win it, but gets in the discussion, and gets poised for a run at it next year, along with a title.

Jags...who knows. I'll say 8-8, the epitome of insignificance. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm probably not (If I am, it's probably gonna be on the worse side).

WVU Mountaineers

10-2; Co-Big East Champs

WVU's team is really going to mature and Noel Devine is going to be in the heisman talk all season. Geno Smith is going to come out flat to start the season at QB but is going to get a grip of things and turn it up late in the year. I see us only losing to LSU and a trap game to UConn. We'll beat Pitt probably in overtime and their only loss will be to UConn as well hence we'll split the Big East. Depending on the way things go we'll either go to the BCS Bowl or we'll go to the Gator Bowl.


Jacksonville Jaguars

9-7, 2nd Place in AFC East- Miss Playoffs

I think the teams new look on defense is going to help a lot. The offense is going to be inconsistent as usual but we'll make the best out of it and let our defense take over games. I picture a top 10 defense but an offense in the high teens or low 20's in the league. Maurice Jones Drew is going to show that Chris Johnson is not the only good runningback in the AFC South. Del Rio loses his job after the season too for missing the playoffs.

Maryland Terps

4-8; Shit

Only upsides for this team will probably be Da'Rel Scott and Alex Wujciak and maybe some of our safties. Scott will end up a undrafted free agent. Wujciak will probably end up late 6th or 7th rounder.

Team will continue to plummet and less recruits will be willing to sign letters, until we get that fat fuck out of Maryland. But Friedgen will probably be allowed to coach the remainder of his contract through 2011, when he "intends" to retire. (thank god)

So Maryland won't climb back to the top of the ACC to at least 2013ish.


Baltimore Ravens

12-4, 1st Place in AFC North- AFC Champs (unless we play Indy...)

Depth... Outside of corner, Baltimore has one of the deepest rosters. So talent wise if Baltimore can stay healthy they can hang with all teams. Didn't downgrade at any position this past off-season and we lost in round 2 (Afc championship the year prior). This should be the year we boil over and take the division and hopefully the conference.

Also... this isn't looked at lots of times, but traveling is way cut down this year. As the farthest we have to travel is to Houston and Atlanta. The rest of our schedule resides in the North East/Atlantic Coast. Put with our week 8 bye, should benefit us a little.
