From what I've been hearing, ours and yours (VT) will be all whites with blue and yellow mixed in (or maroon and burnt orange for yours)... I like that idea much more than the rendering...

I like Pitt's. It actually looks like their uniform before they changed to the blue/gold.

They also have the 14th oldest program. What big-name schools would you say WVU has more tradition than?

Never said they had more tradition than "big name" schools, but to say they have no tradition is laughable...

I guess tradition is relative, and I would think that a school like WVU would have even less tradition than an Arkansas or a Minnesota (two other old programs that aren't really elite), because at least Arkansas and Minnesota can point to periods of dominance and national titles. I don't think WVU has ever won a national title. They've had some good players, but I don't think they've ever had a period of sustained excellence.

WVU's claim to fame is that has the most wins with no national title... also, we were pretty good during the Nehlen years and have been ok since 2002... like you said though, the term tradition is relative, and if you base it solely on national titles, than no, we dont have any tradition... however, i dont base it on that b/c it hurts my argument...

Call me crazy, but I like Bama's the best. Along w/TCU's. I'm assuming "#34" is the TCU version. The only thing wrong w/the Tide's is that they screwed w/the helmet. I almost always pull against the Tide, but I've always loved the helmet. WV's problem is the yellow. If it was blue w/yellow trims etc., then I'd like it better.

edit: I'm trying to find the new uni's for the rest of the schools to see how much (if at all) they differ from last years Pro Combat Uni's...

I doubt the players really like them. All yellow with a white helmet? Who are you kidding? While they can be considered unique, they also just plain suck.

As an Ohio State fan, the Pro Combat uniforms are bomb. They normally are based on original school uniforms and just make them slightly different. Ohio State's were based on the ones used during their 1954 championship run.

I wouldn't mind a switch to nike, but I don't want any shit like this. Go ahead and contract with Nike for all I care, but no pro combat/futuristic retarded jerseys.

Honestly, whoever makes the Badgers jerseys, all they have to do is go back to the unis below and I'd be satisfied. Loved those jerseys.
