Did you watch the game or did you just look at the box score? The offensive line was NOWHERE to be seen. Allen and Edwards were in the backfield every time Romo dropped back to pass. Can't do much when you are on your back the entire game.

Sacked 6 times, getting hit from his blind side, no run game. Granted Garrett should have stopped calling 7 step drops but that's another story.

Didn't Rodgers miss a wide open receiver against Arizona that could have given them the lead or put the game away?

Also: 2 missed FG's, so Dallas should have had 9 points had Suisham not missed 2 chippys.

        lol at playoff performance.

Sanchez had the best Defense in the League to back him up. If he plays average and wins 2 more games(very possible with the Jets D). Do you drop him from #17 to top 5?

What if Manning were traded to a sucky team and he doesn't make the playoffs. Does that somehow make him less of a QB and he drops down in the rankings?

Football is a team sport, it takes a team to make the playoffs.
The defense is just as important as the offense. You base a QB's skill on how far the team goes.

Quote me when I said that it was all Romo's fault they lost because I don't remember saying that.

kmanharris...Romo wears The Star on the side of his helmet. Just accept the hate...for they can't be reasoned with.

I'm gonna be fucking unbearable to these people when Romo wins his ring, just know that. :smug2:

Dude I know how you feel. You remember the Drew Bree lovefest that I created. If Romo wins a ring you can go nuts like I did with Breesus.

I'm not hating on Romo. He's a really good QB. I'd consider him and Rivers interchangeable and the only reason I'd Roethlisberger over him is cause of his rings.

Roethlisberger was irrelevant in one of those Super Bowls. Trent Dilfer has a Super Bowl Ring. Would you have him start for your team over Romo or Rivers?

The Dilfer argument is retarded. Yes he was irrelevant but he stepped it up in his next one.

I honestly don't like ranking guys 1-10, there are tiers. I feel Rodgers made the jump from Tier 2 to Tier 1. Brady is basically about to drop from Tier 1 to Tier 2 pretty soon. In a similar situation, I think Joe Flacco could jump into Tier 2 after this season.

                              Tier 1
                              Manning
                              Brees
                              Rodgers
                              Brady

                              Tier 2
                              Romo
                              Rivers
                              Roethlisberger

Pretty good list overall. Only big problem I have, like many others, is Brees at #4. In your explanations, you give Payton major props for "getting the monkey off his back," then criticize Brees for "only" winning one superbowl. Big Ben, IMO, is top five because of his rings, but there is no way that I'd take Ben on my team ahead of Brees. Brees is every bit as important to the Saints as Payton is to the Colts -- the same can't be said about Big Ben.
