Im eager to see Kolb-McNabb by mid season.

The eagles front staff sure doesnt have McNabb in the top 10. You dont let a top 10 go to a division rival.

Fans or Eagles front office..whos smarter ?
      We'll see by mid season.
I still think McNabb is a top 10 NFL quarterback, but I also think the Eagles did the right thing by McNabb and for the organization.
They didn't want to screw the guy over by sending him to a team like Buffalo or St. Louis, and at the same time knew it was time to move on.
The Eagles peaked with McNabb and Kolb had one year left on his deal too, so they had to make a choice.
I love how all the analysts are saying Kolb is the next Aaron Rodgers, but I have to see it to believe it. The jury is still out. Michael Vick does make a nice injury policy though.
McNabb is really going to miss his Eagles' receivers (who'da thunk it) but will love the more-balanced playcalling from Shanahan.

IMO, the Eagles' biggest weakness on offence is their playcalling. McNabb was getting killed back there. Someone has to convince Reid that's it's ok to run the ball.

I know it's been said 10 times before......but I'm still baffled at the thought that someone would choose Roethlisberger to lead their team over Brees.

This is one of those cases where I'm sure Roethlisberger would even be surprised at that pick.

If Sanchez is 17 then Freeman and Stafford is 17.A and 17.B. Im tired of dickheads praising Sanchez but shitting on Freeman in the same breath. Pretty much tells me you dont know shit.

              28. Josh Freeman
I don't get the whole Josh Freeman thing. Maybe I don't watch Tampa Bay games enough. All I see is Byron Leftwich Jr.
              Confirmed. Get a clue Dave

Why wouldnt I? Sanchez, Freeman and Stafford had pretty much the same type of years last year not to mention both Stafford and Sanchez were opening day starters and had more to work with (Sanchez more so than Stafford) than Freeman.

Sanchez had a great run game, Keller, Edwards, Cotchery and Holmes not to mention a good O-Line. Stafford had Calvin Johnson at least. Freeman had Winslow and Sammy Stroughter to a certain degree. Putting any of these QBs head and shoulders above one another is a misinformed indivisual buying into the bullshit they see on ESPN. Freeman can make any throw they can, has a bigger arm, has a better QB build body wise and can make plays with his feet.

Byron Leftwich couldnt move and had a release stuck in quicksand. How the hell is he Byron Leftwich 2.0? Dave simply should have said I dont know shit about TB like most analyst should when trying to access our talent. Nobody but TB fans watches TB.

Sanchez went to USC, plays in NY, and made the playoffs last year. Of course he's going to be more hyped than Freeman, who nobody saw play in college, and nobody sees play now because he plays on a bad team in a weak market.

That's why lists like this are silly, because whether it's dave or Bill Simmons or even half of these clowns on ESPN, normal people arent watching all of these games. It's only dorks and shut-ins like me & Stump The Schwab who stay up all night Sunday & Monday watching all the replays on the Sunday Ticket replay channels.

Can you just explain why you said the Packers only have average receivers? I'd consider Jennings, Driver and Finley one of the best trios in the game.

OK, I concede above average, but not elite.
Finley does have that potential though.
Driver an obviously reliable pro, but I doubt anyone puts Jennings in their top 10 of receivers.
In fairness, this system probably works better anyway, because you simply can't focus on one receiver as a D.

18 INTs, 20 sacks, 10 fumbles by one quarterback in 10 games = 28th on my list.
Like I said, Byron Leftwich Jr.
Big guy, strong arm, slow release, can't run.
Frankly, I saw nothing from his college stats that even make him seem like a first-round pick.
My guess is this guy will be replaced by his 3rd year by another high draft pick.
I'm not saying he's Jamarcus Russell, I just don't see anything special there.
He wasn't stunningly accurate in college, why would that suddenly change in the NFL?

He needs a better supporting cast before throwing him off the plank completely, but I never see Freeman becoming anywhere near an elite QB.

Sanchez helped get his team to the AFC Conference Finals, Stafford an elite talent who showed a lot of guts last year in Detroit.

Saying Freeman is their equal is just being a homer.

It would be like me saying Kevin Kolb is better than Donovan McNabb.

I'm one of the aforementioned dorks/shut ins and I can't stand to watch Freeman play. He's pretty average as a quarterback once you get past his tools. He was pretty average in college, I was amazed when he shot up the draft board like that.

Luckily, we get to play that shithouse team twice every year.
