i think they mean he was the 44th pick in the NFL draft

I feel bad for the guy. He deserves at least one more chance at the NFL.

Just saw this tidbit on profootballreport.com:

Cut too late by the Dolphins to land an opportunity with another team and ineligible for duty on the practice squad due to 13 regular-season game appearances in 2009, former Dolphins quarterback Pat White is taking a different approach.
            Interesting.

Hope he doesn't collide in the outfielder like he did with Pittsburgh.

Based on the last Hard Knocks, their 53 roster was full once they signed Revis.

There really needs to be a Hard Knocks episode 6.

Wasn't it Patrick Turner? I read that it was Turner and not White :ionno:

                              Jets sign Pat White

Former Dolphins quarterback/receiver Pat White has been signed to the Jets' practice squad, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini.
Our View: Could the Jets perhaps be pumping him for information on their rival Dolphins? White didn't exactly leave Miami on good terms, so he would likely be more than willing to spill the beans on his former team's playbook. He could eventually be signed to New York's 53-man roster as a special teamer.

Jets sign WR Patrick Turner to practice squad

The Jets have signed wide receiver Patrick Turner to the practice squad, according to Aaron Wilson of National Football Post.
Our View: Turner, a former Dolphin, was claimed off waivers by New York over the weekend. However the Jets quickly cut him before bringing him back today. He'll be reunited with college quarterback Mark Sanchez, but he'll likely need a year before having a real shot at making the active roster.

Pat White was not signed to the Jets PS. This report is false and was clarified by Tim Graham.

And besides, PW is ineligible for the PS anyway as he was on our active roster for 13+ games last year
