I don't understand how a wrist injury can take 3-4 months to heal. Not questioning their toughness, I really just don't understand what kind of wrist fracture takes that long. Especially when I'd think you could just cast it up and go clubbin'.

I haven't read the story but is it a fracture? Or is it some kind of tendon tear maybe?
I honestly don't know anything about it but am just throwing stuff out there because I agree with you, I don't see how a fracture would take that long to heal.
